In 2018, La Crosse ********************************* Door installed some large storefront windows in a building for us at a cost of $660 each. Immediately following the installation we noticed that one of the windows was bowed, apparently being cut too large for the opening and installed anyhow. We reported this to La Crosse Glass immediately. We were given the following explanation, "The glass we installed is tempered glass, a heat strengthened glass product. it wasnt really bowed to fit in, that is, it isnt too tight in the opening but when they heat the glass as part of tempering sometimes it imparts a bow in the glass when they rapidly cool the glass to create the heat strengthened part. This in no way will weaken or cause the glass to break. While glass breakage is normally not warrantied, I will warranty this piece against breakage for a year because I am confident you will not have any issue here." Shortly after the warranty period, the window started cracking and now there are significant gaps in the window and it is is not safe. We are going to need to replace the window. I emailed La Crosse Glass about this twice and did not get a response. I called on Friday to discuss this with my contact and he deferred it to the owner. I was explaining my displeasure with their lack of response and told him since I was not getting responses from the owner, that I was going to leave negative feedback places until the owner responded. The rep at La Crosse Glass told me, "go for it" and hung up on me.

    *****,

Thanks for stopping by today.  I reviewed the files again and in looking at the pictures, it appears as though you guys were right.  We did have your company do three windows, but as I look at the pictures again, it looks like the window that was bowed was the middle window, not the end window.  I apologize for my error.  Please extend my apologies to the owners as well.  Ive deleted the negative ****** review.  I went on BBB and they didnt have an option to cancel the complaint.  It basically says they are waiting on La Crosse Glass to respond, so if you guys can respond that you visited and it was determined this window was not installed by La Crosse Glass and that it was our error, Im sure theyll contact me to confirm, which I will gladly do.  I appreciate you guys coming out and setting us straight on that and sorry for the hassle.

That being the case, well need a price on a new window.  When you have time to prepare this, please email it to me at this address.

    Thanks again,
