On July 7, 2023, I was promised a full refund in the amount of $31.82 and complied with all of the requirements to process that refund. Several weeks later, when the refund had not been processed, I called again and was told that the original refund request had been lost, that this has been a common occurrence and that the refund would be expedited that day. As of this writing, the refund has not been received.

    Hi ****,

I think we interacted one time previously on a different complaint matter.

I serve as Quincy Biosciences CFO.  *************************, the person you sent the notices to, retired three years ago.  Any future complaints or issues should be sent to myself.  My contact information is noted below.

As it relates to the specific complaint, **************** is correct in that there was a delay in receiving the refund requested due to an internal error.  A check (number ******) was sent to him in the amount requested of $31.82 on August 18, 2023.  He cashed the check on August 23,2023.  I surmise he submitted his complaint to the BBB on August 20, 2023,while the check was in transit.

In summary, Quincy followed through on its promise to *************** to provide a full refund.

Feel free to follow up with **************** to confirm the matter.

We would appreciate given the follow through Quincy exhibited to have this complaint removed from the review.

If you would like to speak further on this matter, please call me direct at the number noted below.

This company is advertising their product on tv so repetitively that it should and can be considered a form of manipulation and harassment. The constant advertisements are unlawful, unethical and can potentially lead to health risks to the public if they continue to do what they are doing. There is no way for the viewer to block these ads, I've tried. So how do you handle a company that is gaining an unfair advantage through accessive advertisements?

    Hi **************,

We're very sorry to hear about your situation.  At Quincy Bioscience, we're very proud of our products, and we wish health and happiness for everyone.  If you wish to avoid our ** commercials, we suggest you change the channel or turn the ** off for a bit when you first see one.  Our commercials only last 15 or 30 seconds, and we don't advertise on all (or even most) channels or apps, so that should do the trick.

We're surprised that the BBB seems to have categorized your comment as a customer complaint even though you haven't purchased our product or identified activity that's anything but lawful and aligned with BBB standards.  As the BBB is aware, there is simply no amount at which advertising could become any form of harassment or other unlawful behavior.  That said, we're strong supporters of happy consumers, so we're happy to have engaged with you to discuss your situation.

    Regards,

    Quincy Bioscience
