Hi, at first my experience with American Family Insurance was great until I was given a claims adjuster by the name of Krystal ******. Krystal ****** has been rude since the very beginning of the claim process. She doesn’t let the customer speak. She treats the customer as if they are the crap. Her favorite line is “I’ve been in this field for over 10 years”. Regardless of her experience, she has no respect, manners and class on how to treat a customer. I hope you guys don’t ever have to experience a claim under her. She’s trash. This company has lost a customer because of KRYSTAL ******.

American Family is terminating my policy for frozen water from the sky called Freezing Rain 12-15-2022, then August 2024 we had a plumber come out and fix a leaky faucet in the shower, the pipe behind the shower bursted, so the cost for both was around $5,000.00 yes $5,000.00 we got a notice in the mail to cancel our home owners policy.

I was wrongfully charged full coverage insurance for a vehicle for 4 years when it was supposed to be dropped so I was charged full coverage when it was supposed to be liability when I noticed the mistake and told them they've been ripping me off for 4 years nobody cared when they reviewed everything they gave me back 43 $it's not how you treat a customer that's been with them for 26 years yesterday I cut ties and change companies

I just shopped my Homeowners and Auto coverages after 10 years with American Family Connect. I live in *******. I was SHOCKED at how this company had taken advantage of my loyalty! No claims EVER! I saved over $1,000 premium on Homeowners policy and $700 on my auto policy. I also improved my coverages considerably!!! Shame on me - I should have shopped my coverage long before now. And I would recommend anyone with this company shop annually to avoid being taken advantage. I trusted American Family more than I should have bc it was an affiliate of ******. I will be letting ****** know of this review.

They are gouging their long term loyal customers. No issue with my agent but he cant control corporate greed. I cant afford my insurance through them anymore. They hiked my rates beyond ridiculous and not because of my claim history. They have made a bundle off me as a customer. Im leaving Am Fam!

Tammy in the policy department went absolutely above and beyond for me today. She helped get my situation sorted out and put me at ease. She helped answer questions that my agents office have not and sent them emails on my behalf to resolve the issue at hand. Tammy was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with and turned my day around! Thank you!

We have been very patient. We have been told 3 times we would get a call back about our roof sheathing. No one has called us back. When we said we would appeal, we were told, by the clams person it would go back to her, and she told us, very matter of fact, that it would go back to her and she would deny it. Not sure what kind of business practices that is. Both Spencer (out agent) and Denise (the office manager) agreed with us that it should be covered. It clearly states in our policy that code or ordinance changes are covered. We just need to have an answer and an explanation. Sincerely, ******* *****

I have had a renters insurance policy with American family insurance for 14 plus years and have never used it so I thought about cancelling it because to me it was a waste of money to keep paying on it. So I called and spoke with an agent and they told me it wasnt in the policy that I would get a full refund for the years that I had it to me this is such crooked business these insurance companys have more than enough money to give a full refund when a person cancels insurance they are just greedy and milking you for all your money. Even when you do file claims they want to raise your rates and put you through the ring around because they dont want to pay a dime for anything. Dont use American family

"Exceptional Service from Tara ***** and Team" I recently had to file two claims with American Family Insurance: one for hail damage and another for damage sustained during a category 2 tornado. From start to finish, the entire experience was incredibly smooth thanks to the outstanding work of Tara ***** and her team at the ********* office. Tara and her team were incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and always looked out for my best interests. They patiently guided me through the claims process, answered all my questions thoroughly, and kept me informed every step of the way. Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made a difficult situation much easier to navigate. I've been an American Family Insurance customer for over 42 years, and I've always been impressed with the level of service. However, the exceptional work of Tara and her team truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend American Family Insurance to anyone seeking reliable and compassionate insurance coverage.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. They put an adjuster on my home claim who showed up and appeared inconvenienced to be there, took a ton of phone calls, walked around the yard once and inside the home once. When questioned, about next steps, she said she would call. Never did. Solely emailed. Didnt address inquiries. Then when I complained re removal of the adjuster for lack of communication and attention and disputing the denial of roof claim for hail and wind, I received no contact from the national number, but for civil individuals telling me they put it as a high priority and shocked I hadnt received a call. I got email from the adjuster denying my appeal with another lady on it, when I complained that I wanted her removed as its been over a year, I got a statement that she was going to be out of office for the week and would get back to me next week and that its been over a year essentially and that I would have to wait. I asked for a complaint form and stating I have roofing contractors who saw the claim and they paid for my jeep claim for the same weather event. I cant believe after paying for a policy of over 500k that they cant provide any documentation, no names of inspectors etc. The roof was just put on in 2019 by the former owners contractor which was documented. I have contractors stating wind and hail damage and that it isnt that old. Zero verbal communication, inappropriate personal contact for less than 20 min of time by an adjuster, and little to no email communication. Its all about money and premiums with no coverage.
