  I was talking to this company about debt management.. the girl said the cost would be $45 a month for their payment. It seemed on the up & up. I didnt hear from anyone for over a week . Then at CC last minute I get the welcome call this guy set off all my alarms. Double talking me .Then he started throwing out all these figures . They was more than double the original fee! I told him to forget it. I wanted the bank draft suspended. They no longer have my permission to withdraw money from my bank. Yet the following week they took out approximately $679. Then gave me some horse c*** about they had to wait for the payment to clear before they could send it back to me. My bank already told me that they had the money. They are still denying this. I have called them multiple times. They said my money would be in back in my account by Wednesday. I called today on Thursday, he said it be in my count by the end of the day. Its 730 at night, its the end of the day. My money is not in my account. 100% service connected disabled vet I called these people for help. They literally robbed me. Now it is the fifth of the month., and *** been unable to pay my bills any of them because of this shady company.

  Consumer First Legal Network LLC provides legal services relating to the resolution of certain unsecured debts.  The Agreement ************************* signed to engage Consumer First Legal Network LLC clearly states that no fees are paid until Consumer First Legal Network LLC resolves a debt and that Consumer First Legal Network LLC does not collect upfront legal fees.  Consumer First Legal Network LLC has not received any funds from *************************, has not charged or requested any amounts from her, and has no control over or access to amounts she may have paid to or deposited with others.  We are not aware of the conversation claimed in the BBB complaint or what might have been said and certainly dont know what ************************* might have believed; however, all fee arrangements are specified in the executed Agreement, Consumer First Legal Network LLC received no fees, and we promptly terminated the Agreement as requested and no longer represent *************************.
  
  ************************* entered into an agreement with ********** ****to hold funds on her behalf and any funds she may have deposited would have gone directly to ********** ****   Consumer First Legal Network LLC is not affiliated with **************** which is a third-party, does not receive and has not received any funds paid by ************************* to **************** and has no control over the operations or finances of the company. The agreement with ********** **** provides that only ************************* has authority to authorize transactions involving the account which must be provided in writing.  The agreement with ********** **** provides for a hold of up to seven days to ensure good funds.  The agreement also specifies that the account may be terminated by ************************* at any time by providing at least three days written notice.
  
  Apparently, ************************* entered into a contract with The Veritas Legal Plan **** for a legal insurance policy and agreed to pay The Veritas Legal Plan **** a monthly fee of $45.00.  Consumer First Legal Network LLC is not affiliated with The Veritas Legal Plan ****, which is a third-party, does not receive any funds paid to The Veritas Legal Plan ****, and has no control over the operations or finances of the company.  Note that the contract ************************* entered into with The Veritas Legal Plan **** provides for a refund of the first payment if the contract is canceled within thirteen days after the payment clears and that the funds will be returned within thirty days.
  
  Consumer First Legal Network LLC received no funds from **************************  After inquiry, we were informed that the refund she requested cleared on October 6, 2023.  We  can only suggest that she contact ********** **** and The Veritas Legal Plan ****in writing, as specified in her agreements with them, if she does not receive a prompt refund of the funds.
