    Check free pay is a scam!! I made a payment through them for my auto Loan(2000 dollars). They assured the bank would receive the payment. However, the bank never received the payment. Then I proceeded to ask for a refund, I was told I would have to wait while they conduct an investigation for two weeks because the payment shows successful on their end. What a joke! The reps at check free pay are frustrating and waste of time. I got my money but I have to go the store where the transaction was made. Beware & Avoid this company

    SO ***** STRESSFUL, I'm 9 months pregnant with other children, and this company is about to make me lose my house. Zero Stars if I could!!!!This company could be shutdown , been trying to get a refund since June 3rd 2024, in the amount of $256. It was sent to wrong account, which was sent to ****** as they said, called ****** got everything that was needed to returned to money back to Checkfreepay, have documents from ****** and have sent this company the same document that was sent to me stating that the money was returned to them June 5th 2024 and that they would need to reject the original payment. Here it is July 22nd 2024 and still don't have my money return, spoken to 3 supervisors all saying the same thing, internal team just made a ticket on July 9th2024, the money has not been return (but you have documents showing it was), then it's our internal team is not responding to the the email (which they don't have a number to call). What company don't know phone numbers to each other department within their company. This is a ****** up company, what kind of company is this, that you can't get things done in a orderly and timely fashion and have no communication between each except for emails and creating tickets.

    They claimed they would apply the payment the same business day this was a lie. I called the next day because they still had not processed the cash payment. They proceeded to waste the whole following day. The only reason you should ever consider this company is of everyone else goes out of business. Absolutely unprofessional, and unpleasant

    My rental community switched to CheckFreePay for cash rent payments recently and the first time when I went to a ****** store, gave them my Account# and the property name as instructed by my property, there were no issues. I paid the $4 fee (which is high but I digress) and my rent. The next month I went to the same ****** store, gave them the same account# and other info, paid them what I owed, and the store employee told me "It's telling me I have to refund your money" with no explanation. I assumed it was because utilities had not yet been added to rent and I was overpaying, but a day later even after utilities were posted, it was rejected again. I went to an *** store and same thing. Finally, I went to ******* and payment went through. I wasted 2 days running around to pay my rent. The following month: Same. I waited to make sure the full amount was posted to our portal, went to *** and was rejected. I called Checkfree customer service who just told me they saw the attempt but didn't explain why it was rejected. The next day one day before the rent was due, went to ******* and payment went through. Today, I again went to *** and ******* who made 5 attempts and was rejected again. Again I called Customer service and asked them what the issue was. Was the apartment not giving them the correct total amount? Was the ******* and *** system down? Was it Zego's fault? Once again, the thick accented overseas customer service person told me they saw the attempt and it was ok. What does that mean? I tried pleading that I can't leave work early 3 days just to stand in line for a half hour to pay my rent and asked to open a trouble ticket or something, but was just told to try again the next day. As a comparison, the previous management company used Moneygram and I never had an issue. This is also $4 and predatory towards working /under-banked poor but at the very least they could have a service that works.

    Made my credit card payment Friday and paid extra for instant delivery. It has not been processed and it is due today. Could hardly understand the customer service representative. She assured me it would be done today when it should have been done 3 days ago. What a joke.

    They have "same day service" for a *** payment but when called they say it shows in their system as next day payment. Certainly hope I can *** them for this as I'm going to try.

    I wish I could give this business lower than 1 star. HORRIBLE SERVICE customer service is located in the Philippines And extremely rude. My matter wasn’t resolved and I’m out of $524

    My company began using CheckFreePay collecting payments from customers for a variety of companies. CheckFreePay was withdrawing the money from the account I had set up at the bank (at CheckFreePay's request) leading to bank overdrafts because they were making the withdrawals before the money was deposited into the account. Now, CheckFreePay wants my company to pay these overdraft fees.
