    7/1/24- We hired this company to resurface our counter tops and were told that the wood line running through them would be covered and not noticeable after sanding before applying the product. The line is still very noticeable and this was brought to several people's attention only to be told it was the best they could do after telling us originally before the job was started that it would not even show. There is also a piece missing above the dishwasher that they said could they could repair. This has not been completed either.The salesman's boss called us to address our complaint and was very rude and offered us a refund if we had our tops replaced within a 3 week time frame which these days is actually unheard of to begin with and on a fixed income would be impossible in that time frame. I have attached a letter explaining what took place also.

    We truly apologize for any miscommunication or interpretation of the end cosmetic result of your kitchen countertop.  As mentioned in our phone conversation, we can definitely offer a better repair in that area.  In regard to the wood banding through your countertop, any shape or imperfect shape will remain true.  We thought we mentioned this when describing the jagged cut area of your countertop that the shape will remain as is and we unfortunately assumed that would interpret as any imperfect shape like that would show through.  We should have done a better job of explaining that throughout the countertop.  The homeowner mentioned that if she would have heard and understood that then their choice would have been to have new countertops installed.  At this point two offers were made.  Offer 1 is a 50% refund to keep the countertops as is.  Option 2: Because she mentioned that she would have gotten new countertops instead of doing this was that if new countertops are installed within 3 months, I will offer a 100% refund.  3 months was not an option as they have company that would be staying with them, so we changed the offer to 6 months.   I will now offer another option.  I will refund 50% and within 6 months if new countertops are installed, I will refund the remaining 50%.

     

    Again, we do apologize in any miscommunication on cosmetic expectations.  Please let us know how you would like to proceed as our number is ************.

    I had my kitchen and bathroom countertops replaced in August 2021. Recently I noticed some discoloration in a few places on both my countertop and snack bar. They sent someone to check on it. I found out stains are not covered under warranty, only the adhesion of the product is. So be it-8 months later it would cost more money to have work re-done. The problem is the technician that came out tried to be helpful and clean those areas, but in doing so used something dark grey that looked abrasive and it took the top shiny finish off of those areas. A bad situation was made worse. I sent a photo and a couple of emails and have not heard back. That finish should be restored.
