Morgan has partnered with a failed contractor by the name of **********************. ***** and his former construction businesses have been the subject of several small claims judgements against him and his former companies and at least three guilty convictions of theft by a contractor. One of those convictions was a felony where he served jail time. This information is public knowledge on the state of ********* circuit court records. I found out too late. I hired ***** after meeting him at a Morgan Thomas construction site in ********. Mine was a side job without a written contract. I made a down payment and delivered building materials for prep of the needed work. Several times, ***** cancelled scheduled install dates with questionable reasons. Some outside info directed me to look to the circuit courts site. On one case, ***** was ordered by the courts to no longer take the lead on any construction jobs was ordered to attend classes on how to run a business. With his cancellations and court records I cancelled the agreement. Its been over 5 months since ***** started dragging the line on reasons for not returning property or down payment. He has used threats and intimidating words to try to be above me in my attempts to acquire my money and property. In a further attempt to procure some assistance from Chases partner, Morgan Guttenkunst, I gave the above info to Morgan and asked that he prompt his partner to return the money and property. I was shut down from any of the company involvement. I then was ignored in further attempts to get something done. Morgan Thomas remained silent after telling me it was not a company issue. I believe that if a partner is a prior criminal in theft of construction property and is currently withholding money and construction property of the same business type, that maybe this is a company issue. I feel the small claims route is a dead end as most if not all judgements against ********************** are listed as unsatisfied.
