March of 2023 we signed our residential construction contract with All American Dream Homes (AADH). Our HVAC subcontractor was GPS *************************************** (GPS). **** was incomplete during walkthrough on January 11th 2024. Freon was added by GPS May 2nd 2024 completing HVAC installation.Malfunctioning HVAC serviced by GPS on June 18th 2024. GPS adjusted Freon level. Within an hour a strong chemical smell was emanating from floor vents. That evening at 6:19PM we contacted *******************, AADH Field Supervisor and our main contact through AADH, expressing concern over the chemical smell. **** attempted to contact GPS for a repair but was unable to reach a technician. Note: GPS advertises on their van a 24-hour emergency service number. Through a series of text messages (screenshots attached) **** authorized us to contact a local 3rd party HVAC to address the chemical smell issue. **** confirmed that GPS would be responsible for the 3rd party HVAC bill. We chose **** ************************** detected and corrected a Freon leak.**** ************* emailed invoice electronically on June 18th 2024 after service (attached). We forwarded the invoice to AADH on June 19th 2024. On June 24th 2024 **** from AADH informed us neither GPS nor AADH would pay the invoice for the June 18th 2024 service by **** Brothers. This conflicts with their past practice regarding approving and paying for 3rd party electrician and plumbing services that we were given written consent to hire to repair malfunctioning equipment and construction.A second invoice was sent by **** Brothers on July 31st 2024. We contacted *************************, co-founder of AADH, on August 6th 2024 expressing our dismay that neither AADH nor GPS has resolved the outstanding bill for **** ************* services. **** responded on August 7th 2024 with a vague email stating he needs to review the issue and will get back to us next week.We are seeking assistance from the BBB moving forward.
