I visited Connect Chiropractic on June 10th after finding them at a farmers market, I explained my concerns and they lured me in with claims that they'd be able to solve my issues and I was super excited. They exaggerated the "normal price" and stated that because I was at the farmers market I would then be saving over 50%. I went in with 3 of my 5 children as they stated the first visit was for the whole family. My Husband went back at a few days later with the other 2. This is where to problems began, they did not do an actual exam of myself, my husband or my children. Instead they used some voodoo quackery "infrared" machine to determine what my issues were, mind you, this was after telling them what my issues were ad nauseam. Naturally their machine agreed! Like magic, they then tried to sell my on a package to the cost of thousands of dollars. When I booked this appointment, it was my understanding that we would receive an exam AND treatment, this place demanded I come back for treatment at a later date to discuss the "financial aspect."This is such bait and switch it's not even funny and they're not trying to hide it.SO I called to see if we could get a refund after realizing this place was complete marketing and not actually what they claimed to be and simply could not help us, the owner basically laughed at me and told me "nobody is forcing you to stay here; you can go somewhere else if you're not happy." I couldn't believe the arrogance of this man, unable to help our family of 7 and unwilling to make right what he did wrong. Which was not provide the promised service at the agreed upon price. We wound up paying over $250 for an exam from a machine that is total nonsense and offered no insight or real resolution to our issues. I attempted to dispute the transactions with my credit card and of course connect fought it and I'm sure lied they're way to keeping their I'll gotten gains.

Due to privacy laws, we are unable to respond to a specific patients case. However, we are happy to
further explain how a new patient appointment in our office works.
When a patient signs up for a new patient appointment (whether online, via phone, or in person), they
are informed that the first appointment in our office always consists of a consultation and an
examination. At our farmers market table, our employees give each person who signs up an
appointment reminder card that explains exactly what is included in their new patient&#**;s special offer: an
office tour, a consultation, a neurological evaluation, a muscle examination, and a report of findings
with recommendations for care moving forward. In total, the first appointment lasts for approximately
one hour per person. The special offer price varies depending on the event at which our team meets the
new patient, but we always make an effort to keep it affordable and be very upfront about any
additional costs before they are incurred by the patient.
At the new patient appointment, our team utilizes CLA Insight technology for both the neurological
evaluation and the muscle examination. CLA is used by thousands of chiropractors and is an FDA
Certified Medical Device. There have been thousands of research studies to prove the validity of CLA
Insight technology; it has also been used in court cases to prove injuries that result from an accident.
The results of these exams often do not match a patients symptoms because they are showing us how
the body is functioning, and they highlight areas along the spine where there may be compensation or
other underlying issues. Our CLA tools are regularly tested and calibrated to ensure proper function and
accurate results for each individual patient. After the examination is completed by one of our staff
members, the results are thoroughly explained in person to each patient during that first appointment.
The patients exam results are also printed out, and a copy is added to a booklet of additional
information about our office that is provided for them to take home that day.
There are cases where, at the first appointment, we may need further diagnostic testing (such as x-rays)
based on a patients medical history and our exam findings. If these are determined to be necessary, the
cost of the x-rays (with or without insurance) is told to the patient at this time. The patient is then given
the opportunity to decide whether they would like to proceed with taking the x-rays. If they choose to
move forward, we will collect payment at that time, a signed x-ray authorization form, and then take the
necessary x-rays before they leave that day.
The staff radiologist and our doctor need time to look over each patients x-rays and their specific case
before we can move forward with adjustments, as we never want to guess about anyones health or
miss any important findings. Therefore, we schedule a complimentary follow-up appointment to show
the patient their individual x-rays and our recommendations for care moving forward. We also go over
the financials of everything at this appointment, as we want to be upfront with the total cost of care
moving forward. We do include any relevant insurance prices as well. At that point, once we have fully
informed the patient, they then get to make the choice about whether they want to move forward with
    care.
In our office, we place a lot of value on educating our patients and ensuring that they fully understand
their body and the causes of their health concerns. This does take time, but we see it as time well spent
because it allows each person to make a fully informed decision about their health and how to improve
    it.

At the end of the day, we want everyone to be happy with their chosen medical providers. We do realize
that we may not be the best fit for everyone, and that is perfectly okay. We are always willing to refer
someone to another provider who could better serve their specific needs whether it be another
chiropractor or a different type of medical professional. Once a medical service of any kind is rendered,
a detailed medical note is made, and these records become a permanent part of a patients official
medical record. By law, medical records (including those regarding diagnostic testing) can be requested
by a patient or another provider (with a signed release form) at any time.
