Inconvenient, they wouldn't contact you for weeks, didn't start when they said they would, turned a 1 day job into a 3 day job, had to constantly call about the work being done, had to clean up the mess they left behind (soda cans, candy wrappers, scrap materials, nails), unprofessional and hard to work with until they wanted their money then they had no trouble contacting multiple times a week via phone or email and when referring to all of this they called it minor hiccups.

The contracted roofer did a professional tear-off with a subsequent reinstalled roof on the contracted property. The roof they put on was done well. As I watched, I saw that although there were tarps put in place to cover the neighboring homes, those tarps had some holes in them. At the completion of the tear-off, the tarps were removed from those homes. With the start of applying the new shingles, I saw cut off parts of the shingles coming off the roof and hitting neighboring homes. Upon my inspection I found both homes marked by the shingles that came off of the roof, be it from holes in tarps, or no tarps on the homes. I informed the foreman of the job of this situation. They tried to remove the marks, but their work did not fully remove them. I also made this known to the salesperson who later came to get the final payment for the roof job. I was told they would be out the next day to take off those markings. No one came to the location to take care of the problem the next day. I called them one month later and asked when this complaint was to be taken care of and have gotten no answer to date.Standard Roofing & Restoration LLC Response
