    I came in to Platts Garage March 21st with damaged brakes and asked if they could replace my front brakes (rotors, pads, and caliper) which they said they could and did. They seemed to squeak frequently. Upon taking my vehicle in for front tires at ******************* ******* they realized someone had incorrectly installed rear rotors on the front of the car and incorrect caliper setting.

    *orry for the delay. This is the first I've heard about this issue there must be some confusion with this because the rear brake rotor from this vehicle would not fit on the front. I would love to talk to Mr. * more about it. My personal cell is ************ look forward to talking with him.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear

    the rotors were incorrect and pads and rotors needed replacing by ******************* Superstore. Because the Platts Garage placed rear brake rotors on the front wheels which needed to be replaced since they were the incorrect part for the repair.

    Does **** have the old brake rotors that were suppose to be incorrect? We attached photos showing the brake rotors front and rear and as you can see by the photos they are drastically different and would not interchange.

    If I could give this guy no stars, I would. He has zero compassion and was incredibly rude. My 72 year old grandmother's truck was taken and ditched by her roommate on the side of the road in the snow. Unfortunately this was the company that towed her truck. My grandmother is on a fixed income so I kindly asked if he could lower the $50 daily storage fee. He then snapped at me saying, "No, it's $350 today and will be $400 tomorrow! I was the one out there at 2:30 in the morning getting this truck out!" My reply was, "Woah, ok I'm really surprised by how you speak to your customers, I will let my grandma know the cost and will.... " He hung up before I finished my sentence. I researched and it states under the ********* ********** of ************** Law Platts Garage is not to be charging more than "$150 per vehicle towed and up to $150 in additional charges, WITHIN REASON. " My grandmother's vehicle has been sitting one day and Platts is billing her (me) $350. Platts Garage is illegally exploiting their customers as per ********* ********** of ************** regulations.

    This was a accident at approximately 12:30 am. The Truck left the roadway and was in the ditch the driver was intoxicated and received his 11th OWI. We where called by law enforcement to remove the truck and tow it in. Our towing and recovery bill was $300 and the daily storage fee is $50. They picked the truck up 4 days later for a total of $350. The truck wouldn't start when they came to pick it up, so we towed it to the gas station for free for them. There was no wrong doing done to the customer. Also they are confused about the Wis. state statues. Let me know if I can further assist.   Thanks ***********
