    This is the worst Company I’ve ever hired. I had a heating issue and this company because of their delays cost me $8000 in rentals both the owner and the technician told me to not call them anymore when I was trying to get an update and threatened to walk offthe job when the system was taken apart. Zero professionalism and concern for the customer do not contact these people

    **** is lying it cost him $2500. We told him they cost up front so it was no shock once we had it fixed. We had to order a part and he kept contacting us day after day after day sometimes 3 times a day. What took so long is *** and ***** could not get the parts here in a timely manner because of the big snowstorm.. Is so instead of taking 3 days to get the parts it took 5 days. I can post a copy of the bill or send it to you if you would like to see it. Nobody else will work for him that's why he called us because he is a very very nasty customer.

    He is from out-of-state and this is an airbnb rental. Other people were in there working at the same time. And the other contractors said the same thing about not working for him again. Was supposed to meet us there and pay us at the end of the job on completion. Never showed up and told us to send him a still haven't been paid. Do yourself a favor stay away from this guy.

    Just looked up my records in a total of 4 days he called us 37 times. We kept telling him that it was an old system that was outdated and parts were hard to find. And there had been a lot of other contractors working on the same system over the years. If he had guests coming in he should have provided supplemental heat or canceled because we gave him plenty advance notice that we could not get the parts the next day. when we would tell him what was Wrong we had to wait till he talked to his wife and got permission before he could spend any money and that delayed the process even further because sometimes it took at least 3 hours for him to respond to us.

    We are from out of state and our daughter bought a home in Elkins. We called Mountain State and not only were they prompt (they were out that day and installed a new unit the next day) but they were also fair in price. On top of that they were super friendly and very accommodating for us. We had to make some alteration on where the unit was and Freddie, the owner, made sure it they got taken care of. I would highly recommend Mountain State.

    Five stars are just not enough! After I called ***** Heating and cooling 3 times (spoke to someone 1 time, left 2 messages) called ****** Heating and Cooling twice (spoke to someone once and left 1 message). I was given Mountain State Heating and Cooling number by a relative and WOW. Someone called the SAME business day I left a message, Someone came that SAME business day and found out the issue and THEN returned that SAME evening and fix our AC and went above and beyond showing my husband several other "preventative" issues meanwhile fixing them. we were without AC for 9 miserable days. I have already recommended Mountain State Heating and Cooling to 3 people. THANK YOU!
