Bought a car from this business 4/4/2024 It didn’t last a day until it started losing power and smoking. They won’t help fix or refund. It’s a blown head gasket which is unsafe to drive in and they said it was spark plugs. They’ve deleted and ignored all communication. One day drivable and I’ve lost all my money. 70 years old and spent my ss backpay to be robbed of it. Please be warned

I bought a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder at A&B used cars on 2/8/23 while driving home from church on 4/18/23. The sub frame broke throwing my car over into the other lane almost making me strike a guardrail. Was able to get the vehicle back in the right lane and was able to limp it home since we were like 9 miles from home no cell service dark and my wife, myself ,my one yr old son who was on my side when it broke. My sister and nephew were also with us. That is a road hazard and could have been an accident if something was coming we would have hit them head on. On 4/19/23 in the day light it was quite apparent what had happened after removing the rear tire. I called the dealership and they tell me it’s the financing companies responsibility. I call the financing company ******* ******* they tell me it the dealerships responsibility. It’s the blame game back and forth between the two. No one wants to assume the responsibility for the vehicle. This is my only way back and forth to work. Today I had to call off due to not having a ride to work. I have a debt of 11,072.95 with the finance company I pay $315.96 a month for a vehicle I can’t drive. And the vehicle has an up to date inspection sticker on the windshield. Which means if a proper inspection had been done on this vehicle the vehicle would have failed inspection and the sticker would not be on the vehicle. That means it was not inspected properly and the window sticker is a bootleg illegal sticker. This vehicle is down my wife is 32 weeks pregnant and has appointments weekly now and no way to get there and I have no way to work if I can’t find a ride. I should have this replaced at no cost to me or repaired at no cost to me. I am seeking legal council also.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

When A&B sent their reply that they would be willing to look at the vehicle to see what they could do to help me. The vehicle was already in the garage getting fixed. That was the reason for the rejection because I didn’t have the vehicle to drive to dealership to let them look at it. I just would like A&B reimburse the work that was done .here is the receipt of the work not counting cost for the part.
