    I purchased a brand new home from Trico Homes, and I'm incredibly disappointed with my experience. Recently, I discovered a water leak in my basement. I contacted the builder immediately, only to be informed that they won't cover any repairs related to the leakeven though I took possession in 2023.While they suggested I reach out to an external company, I feel let down by the lack of support from Trico. It seems unfair that I have to handle this significant issue on my own. Communication throughout this process has been frustrating, and I expected better service from a reputable builder.I would not recommend Trico Homes based on my experience. Its disappointing to invest in a new home only to face major issues shortly after moving in, with little help from the builder.

    We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the experience from your new home purchase. As your home was purchased as part of our Showhome leaseback program, the warranty coverage began at the original closing date in May 2019. All new homes come with a 5 year building envelope warranty, which means that while your home was still under warranty during that period, it has since expired. When you contacted us regarding the leak in your basement, though the warranty had expired we immediately provided you with the contact information for a reputable contractor who could assist with the issue.

    I purchased a home from them in November of 2023 in ** ******** What was told by the sales agent was no where close to reality. They are just a money grab and they will turn their back on you as soon as they got your money. No one from management has responded several of my calls yet. Warranty department does not take any responsibility and trys to pushes it on sales and sales on to the construction supervisor and so on...Do not expect anything from Trico if you want customer service. You can build better homes with other builders in the area with much better features. I happened to be someone in need of a home before the end of that month and there was only one in the area! I am at the verge of taking them to court. Try to keep away from them.

    I have had the pleasure of working with ******************************* for the last 3 years in the warranty department and not only does she always reply quickly and with solutions but she follows up and works for the best interest of the clients.

    I  have tried and tried to have someone from Management to call me with no luck. I have even sent Mike the CEO a Linkedin message which he has not replied to. This is NOT a company that cares about you after they get your money. Promises are not kept from sales office and the only people that call you back are Warranty Dept which is where the problems are. Management does not know what is happening at this end and if they do they should be ashamed for letting customer down like this. We purchased a spec home from Trico ** ***********, Just a small one as a temp place as we find an area to build our 2nd custom home here in Alberta. I can say Trico will not be apart of that project.

    My kitchen and bathroom cupboards are falling apart. We built the house with Trico in 2015. It is so upsetting. Trico will not do a thing to help us. They just say our warranty is over and they no longer use the kitchen company (Classic Kitchens). I cant afford to do a kitchen renovation.

    This customer has recently reached out to Trico Homes regarding this concern. They have reported 5 cabinet doors in the kitchen which are having issues, with the finish seeming to appear bubbled/separated. It is tough to determine if the doors themselves are delaminating or if there is potential damage caused by steam and/or water. This concern with the cabinets was not evident during the warranty period which did expire in 2016.
