I bought a used truck from North Edmonton Kia. Within two weeks I had to have the CV axle replaced, and within two months and still 2,000 km from my first oil change on the truck, I am now looking at over $9,000 in repairs to a $40,000 truck. I contacted the dealership to complain (as I did with the original repair), but their GM’s response was that there was nothing they could do if I don’t have a warranty with them. I was willing to eat the $3,000 in repairs/upgrades I had already made to the truck (brakes/rotors, CV axle, tires) if they would just take the truck back and void the agreement. I even wrote an email to the owner appealing to his sense of decency and fairness in making this situation right. No response. That a dealership is able to sell a vehicle and wash their hands of it immediately is ridiculous. There should be some level of onus on them to stand behind the products they sell, it is the reason people go to dealerships instead of buying from curb salesmen. There is no lemon law in Alberta protecting consumers, but there really should be one. Buyer beware with this company.

Not meeting conditions of warranty. My extended warranty is to fix problem and I pay $100 deductible. 2 years ago....they fixed brake problem after diagnosing it and charged the $100. No problem. Now....they fixed air conditioning and want to charge $240 ,for diagnostics. This is not in the warranty contract that I paid 2500 for extended warranty. My vehicle is still there. They are breaking agreement of contract and would like you to resolve this issue before I go back to pick it up. I talked to their General manager of sales and he has not resolved issue. Please help me. *****.

Bought a used vehicle from this terrible dealship. They pulled a carfax to show me all i wanted to know. Everything looked clean... until i came in to do the purchase. The sales team made me wait for financing, so they said for 3 hrs, the i said i would walk and miraculously the brouggt me in to complete the paperwork. The finance member told me i had 1 month warranty, well 2 weeks after purchase, i brought in the vehicle for a gas smell. This is when i had to get the service manager involved. I fou d out i qas lied ro not just about the warranty that didn't existed but that the replaced the engine prior to purchasing. There is no mention of this during purchase. But to top it all off, i was determined to sell this head ache of a car, I brought it in to another dealer for appraisal and rgis is when i found out that this terrible dealersold me a car woth a lean form 2 previous owners. Last i looked, that's illegal. I brought the vehicle back to kia to buy it back a full price and was told straight up No. This is the worst dealer. NEVER GO THERE
