    Initially, ******* assumed it was a bank error and that he had ended up making 2 separate payments to two separate financing companies for the same vehicle. On Aug 18, 2022 ******* had re-financed his car to drop the amount of his car payments. However, he ended up being charged with 2 car payments coming out of his bank account. He went to both banks to address with no support from either. ******* *** ****** works for the Canadian Armed Forces and has been on deployment for 6 months from Dec 2022 until June 2022. Therefore the delay in follow-up with this issue. Also, he is again on deployment. He has gone to both ****** and Hyundai/*** finance about the issue still with no support and has recently contacted AMVIC. This is still not resolved, and it is affecting his day-to-day living his credit has taken a hit as he can not afford to pay 2 car payments for one vehicle. He ended up blocking one payment until they contacted him – still no support has been received. I, ******* ******, is acting as *******’s representative to assist him as this issue is still ongoing and he is again on deployment. We have reached out to the contact emails on the lien report to get proof of payment of the initial lien on the car and we have been directed back to the bank. Northstar Autogroup are the ones that refinanced his car and were to payout the initial lien amount to ******. Apparently, Northstar is Hyundai, the refinance company now being paid. He needs support to 1. Resolve which lender should be the one receiving payment for the vehicle. Currently, both have liens on the same vehicle. 2. Get reimbursed for the extra payments made. 3.     On March 15, 2022, I reached out to a salesperson to purchase a used 2021 Mazda CX-5 for $41,987.40. The vehicle is advertised for $39,988 with the following statement: "Price includes all fees and charges except GST and fees associated with financing." When I inquired about the all-in final price, they told me I would be charged a AMVIC fee of $6.25 and an anti-theft charge of $699. I asked them to waive the anti-theft charge and they refused unless I agreed to financing instead of paying cash. My understanding from AMVIC is that this is an unacceptable business practice and they advised me to go to another dealership. I am only looking to buy this car as advertised, nothing more.
