    ***** a im not impressed .i bought a 17 ****** from them ,the windshield had a big stone chip but they said they would replace it now they tell me they will only fill in the chip.

    This dealership is inherently dishonest. Claimed that it was mandatory to purchase two packages for a used car, costing an additional $1500. After going to a different Hyundai dealership in ********, I was told that the aforementioned packages are always optional.This, I believe,Is criminal..

    I brought my granddaughter in to Northstar to look at vehicles as her car had broke down. She had her mind set on an ******* and the Sales manager suggested she look at the Kona that jus came off the truck. He suggested it was a much better vehicle for her and more affordable. The salesman ***** was excellent with her and understood she is 19 and out on her own and could not afford high payments. We negotiated a 84 month term at $202 bi weekly. Which meant $33,936 for the vehicle.The finance manager **** got all her details and offered her all of the extended warranties. She explained she could not afford them but would like a few of them. He went back and forth and came back saying he got all the extended warranties for an extra $20 biweekly. We were so very happy about his news!!However, when picking up the vehicle a couple days later she realized the term was set at 96 months!!!!They totally mislead and took advantage of this 19 year old girl that earns a minimal wage and supports herself. She asked for her $7,000 deposit back and scrap the deal. **** informed her that it would result in repossession of the car.I feel absolutely devastated her that this dealership mislead her.There is no recourse and I dont want this to happen to others!!

    Do not recommend buying anything used from this dealership. Their inspections are below subpar. Bought a 2016 Sonata in which inspection papers (keep in mind it took me over a dozen email requests to get the inspection report - making me believe they had to buy time to forge papers) state the motor is passing condition as a certified sale. This should not equal burning oil and bearings that are on the way out. I have been topping it up with oil every one to two weeks, and this is roughly 100 to 200kms put on each time. car runs rough, strange idle at stop to go.-Found out sparkplugs and PVC valve and the motor itself are failing, all which are documented as good and passing states with NORTHSTARS inspection. Gm would rather spend time sending condescending and passive aggressive emails than solve an issue. He could have mentioned warranty and Hyundai ****** would replace the motor if required. instead he refused to pay for things, until he is proven he is in the wrong, and still argues. He had to ask another dealership about warranty as he is unable to do any of his own work to provide answers to customers. Judging off reviews, subpar and poor inspections seem to be common at this dealership. He was mad I wanted to take it to another shop besides his (why he thinks I would blows my mind) and asked it goes to a Hyundai dealer because other mechanics dont work on Hyundai's I guess, which must mean they only accept Hyundai's at their lot??? Very strange. Southtown has been great and proving that inspection papers and inspection itself were not done correctly. GM has caused great amounts of stress, anxiety and lose of wages dealing with this. I am uncertain I should have my children in the car or go anywhere outside of work and back. It's a shame he treats customers so poorly, but reviews are on par that are directed to him and how he treats people. DO NOT RECOMMEND NORTHSTAR TO ANYONE!!
