  My wife and I hired Volkan to install interlock and a fence extension in our backyard. He came to our house for measurements mid March/2022 and said the job would be completed by the end of April/2022. He asked for a deposit, later on asked for more money for the fence. The total deposit was $6,100. I called him several times and he would always give excuses saying he is very busy and that he is coming "tomorrow" but he never showed up. He did this at least 10 times and never called us to say anything. Just did not showed up. By the beginning of July/2022, we realized we *** ******* and asked Volkan to please refund our deposit. Again the same conversation "I am sending your money tomorrow". We have all the etransfer records. Volkan works with two business accounts. Laysanview Contracting and **** *****.   We hired Laysanview Contracting in April 2021 to do interlocking. We paid him a 11.5k deposit + HST with hopes to that he will stick to his contract date. He kept promising he would start in June 2021. He wouldn't pick up his calls. We would have to keep calling, texting and then he would respond with the same story that he would start the next month. He said he was short on labor and Covid has disrupted the supply of interlocking tiles. At this point, we asked him to refund the money as he clearly had no means to complete the job. He said he couldn't because he had spent 30% to order our material. He could only return 70% that too as a post dated check. We refused as we asked him to show us our material. Well, the summer of last year went by and we are back at it again. He promised us last month he would start last week. The same story repeats. He says he's on his way with the equipment but never shows up. We want him to just refund our deposit.

  Yes i do have contract with ****** ******* and true is we did have timing essue. And i order hes material when there was shortes in market and i cant not return and i already explain this to him and hes wife on the phone I coundt get catch up with timing hes neighboor also one of my client and i did work for hes neighboors family perfect way and thats why they choice my company but because shortes labour and material in market put me in this position and im still looking to finish the project on good way during the covid 19 i had essues happend in my bussiness and im still looking forward to catch up and make my customers happy and my bussiness better
  We are not looking for essue at all only timing was are bigger essue and im looking forward to fixed

  I do not trust that the material money has been given to the supplier. After speaking with a few home owners Mr. V. has been taking on new contracts this year (at J*** ****** street in Brampton) without showing any intentions of completing our job. Laysanview is requested to kindly provide evidence of the material payment along with the name and address of the supplier. It is also expected that he deliver the material to our house, if payment has been made to the supplier, and return the balance amount immediately.
