Had a very upsetting experience at this hotel, my family had two rooms booked but they could only find one room reservation at check in - checked in on Saturday Feb 24th at 4 pm. We all squeezed into that one room because front desk staff advised us we wouldn't find anything else in the city with availability; we got a call at 10 30 pm (Saturday Feb 24th) after our six year old was sleeping soundly that night that they found our second reservation and we would be charged for that second room regardless, so half of my family moved rooms at 11 pm; they asked two family members to go down and check in at 11 pm, and were extremely short-tempered and cold/rude to those family members; then we entered to find that this new room (4th floor) was only heated with a space heater, barely any blankets provided, red/brown stains all over one of the beds, freezing cold all night, frost/condensation on the toilet seat when they first entered the room, bathroom sink was not cleaned (red/pink stains), various people tried to open our locked door throughout the night (probably just kids or intoxicated people); my daughter called down to ask for more blankets and was told they couldn't offer the same quilts/sheets as what we had on the 2nd floor, so brought up one or two more of the same thin blankets up; management was not willing to offer anything more than a 10% discount the next morning (which came to only 15 dollars), our family and our six year old in particular had an upsetting and traumatic night. Nowhere on the hotel website does it state that upper floor rooms are only provided with space heaters and have inadequate bedding (no quilts or any thick blankets at all), nothing was done to alleviate our distress throughout the night or upon checkout the next morning (other than they offered us the 15 dollar discount).

I stayed at the Motel 6 from December ***** in room 428. When I arrived I was only provided one key for 3 adults and had to argue to get 2 keys. Then when I went up to the room neither key worked and I had to go back downstairs to receive 2 new keys. Upon entering my room there was no heat. I called downstairs and when no one came up I went down and someone came up and gave us a space heater we were allowed to use for 15 minutes. It only heated a little and my mother told them that and they said we could keep the heater in our room but to only leave it on for 15 minutes at a time and when there. The bathroom was freezing and the room was cold every time we left and came back. If we used anything at the same time as the heater such as the microwave we lost all power in our room which happened 2 times and it took them about 10 minutes to turn it back on each time. From the power going off and on it caused the fridge to freeze my 1mg Ozempic, which cost me $160 to replace. Then the vending machine ate my money when I went to buy drinks and they said they would fix it and never got back to me. And then upon check out I had a lot of stuff to take home with me and they did not have any luggage carts available to bring it down and only offered to help me when i had 2 small bags left to bring down. Myself in a wheelchair and my son brought everything down by hand. I have called for help resolving the situation since I checked out and they will not do anything about the meds or get back to me at all, despite me calling repeatedly. All I want is the money back for the medication
