Every year since 1944, Numeris has contacted Canadians to collect broadcast measurement information such as radio listening and TV viewing. By providing important audience and consumer behaviour information and intelligence, we enable Canadian broadcasters to deliver relevant, high-quality programming that meets the needs and wants of Canadians. Your household was randomly selected to participate and our telephone calling system attempted to reach you to provide information about what we do and to conduct a brief survey.

Numeris maintains its own internal Do Not Call List and quickly responds to requests from individuals who do not wish to be contacted by our organization. Individuals who wish to be added to our internal Do Not Call List may make this request with our Telephone Interviewer at the time we call, via email ***************, through our website https://numeris.ca/have-a-question or by calling us toll-free at 1-800-214-5226.
We received your October 9, 2022 request to be added to our Do Not Call List. We can confirm that it was immediately removed from our survey calling and added to Numeris' DNC list (Ref # *******).

We apologize that our calling caused any inconvenience.

    Sincerely,

    Numeris

We do apologize for being hung up on and for the difficulty you described in getting removed from our survey. We are sorry that this happened.

If you provide your telephone number - the telephone number at which we called, we can have it immediately removed from our calling system and added to our Do Not Call List.

We would also be able to do the appropriate follow up with the employee(s) with whom you spoke, to ensure it does not happen again.

    Thank you,

    Numeris

This company won't stop calling me: Numeris, a research survey company in Richmond BC. I have had two calls a day for the past 6 days. Each time I have asked them not to call me again. To put me on their do not call list. They won't stop calling me!

We apologize if our attempt to include you in our survey was not a positive experience.

Your household was randomly selected to participate and our telephone calling system attempted to reach you to provide information about what we do and to conduct a brief survey.

As a market research firm, we are not part of the National Do Not Call List, however Numeris maintains its own internal Do Not Call List and quickly responds to requests from individuals who do not wish to be contacted by our organization. Individuals who wish to be added to our internal do not call list may make this request with our Telephone Interviewer at the time we call, via email info@numeris.ca, through our website https://numeris.ca/have-a-question or by calling us toll-free at 1-800-214-5226.

We noticed that you did not provide a telephone number in the Better Business Bureau complaint. If you could provide the telephone number at which we have called you, we can remove it from our calling system, add it to our Do Not Call list and provide you with a reference number.

You mentioned that you had asked our Telephone Interviewer to add you to our Do Not Call list. We apologize that it did not happen at that point and we will follow up on this directly.

    Sincerely,

    Numeris

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
There were six calls from Numeris. I asked each of the callers to put me on the DO NOT CALL LIST. Obviously they did not do this as the calls kept coming daily. They called twice on Sunday. Each time I said don't call me anymore, so the company's assertion that all I had to do was tell the interviewer I did not want to participate or be repeatedly called every day for five days in a row is incorrect. I did ask six times and the calls continued. * ***** **** *** *** ***** **** **** ******* ***** ** ******** ***** **** **** *** *****
