I took my 97 ford F150 in for a oil change on 5-9-24 which may have been an older vehicle, but still ran good with no issues. 2 months later my oil light came on and I took it to another shop to find out what was wrong and they informed me that my truck was 4 quarts low on oil and the oil filter had not been changed and the plug to my oil pan had been damaged. They stated that walmart had never changed my oil and damaged my plug, and as a result, my oil leaked out, and it ruined my engine. So I had to spend 7,200 on a new engine because Walmart failed to provide service that I paid for and, as a result of that, it damaged my vehicle. I filed a claim with them for reimbursement of the money I paid for my engine, and they will not answer my calls or get back to me, and now I'm just waiting with no solution. I need walmart to step up and make this right and pay for the cost of replacing my engine that their negligence caused.

I took my car to the auto center in Waynesboro VA for an oil change. They drained the transmission fluid instead of the oil causing damage to the transmission. I have been without my car for three weeks since it was towed to a dealership. I can’t get anyone to answer an email or return a call regarding my claim. My husband and I both work full time and have two kids in school so we simply need our car but can’t get any answers. The local Walmart admitted their mistake but was very rude when it happened. I have witnesses including the tow truck driver. It is going to cost approximately $6200 to repair the transmission and I paid $150 tow bill.

On 10-13-2024 I took my Vehicle to my local Walmart Auto Care Center for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation that I have done there approximately every 5000 miles. However, on this occasion 6 days later(10-19-2024) Oil Leaked from the Oil Drain Plug(according to AAA Towing) was not tightened sufficiently. I contacted the Walmart Auto Care Center the Next Morning and spoke with the Service Mgr and explained what had occurred with my Vehicle on my way to work. He looked up my invoice and said that he wanted to come to my home where I had it towed to take a look at my Vehicle to see if possibly the could rectify what happened. I agreed to have Towed to the Walmart Auto Care Center and they refilled the Engine with Oil, but that didn’t fix the problem. He(the Service Mgr) suggested that I have towed to a repair shop so I did. I had towed to the Ford Dealership to where my Wife & I purchased it New. The Ford Service Dept discovered that the Engine Froze from lack of Oil due to what had happened with loose Oil Drain Plug. I got the estimate as suggested by Walmart Claims but I have yet to compensated for the Monies Spent to have my Vehicle Repaired. As of today’s date, I/we have spent more Than $16,624 on Engine Repair, Car Rentals not including the Towing and Pain and Suffering. There is little to no response from my Phone calls, Emails or Faxed Invoices.

On 10/20/24 my daughter who is in Colorado attending college took her vehicle to the Walmart Service Center located at 500 Summit Blvd, Broomfield, CO for an oil change. After driving away in her vehicle she started back towards Boulder when the vehicle broke down. When she checked the oil dip stick, it was completely empty. We called the store and spoke with the service manager, who spoke with the tech, who admitted to forgetting to put oil back in the vehicle. The vehicle was then towed back to the Walmart per their request. A claim was started and a couple of days later I made contact with an adjuster who gave me a claim number and instructions on what the next steps were and looped in a higher-level adjuster who would be handling our claim. We had the vehicle towed to a shop and evaluated. It needs a new motor. All of this information was sent to the adjuster. I have not been contacted once since the claim was initiated. I called and spoke to someone one time and now have sent several emails, left voicemails, and I can't get anyone to call me back. My daughter is having to Uber/Lyft everywhere and shop is reaching out about the car. We don't know what to do and get anyone to help. I need someone to make contact with me ASAP. My daughter cannot continue to live without a vehicle and we have been patiently waiting for over 2 weeks.

On August 4, 2024, I visited Sam's club located in Medford LI. The time was around 10:45am to 10:50am. The parking lot was chaotic and it was windy that day. There were cars, people and shopping carts everywhere. I decided to leave and come back at another time. I was waiting to turn down an aisle, when an unattended, stray shopping cart hit into my car. I filed a report with the store, obtained a police report and estimate for repair for damages. It took two weeks before a Walmart Claims Representative named Nicole C******* contacted me. Her last contact with me was a voicemail on August 27th 2024. She was going to pull the camera footage and get back to me. That was the last time I heard from her. I have reached out to her weekly for almost two months and she does not respond to my messages. I have gone down to the store and spoken with a manager several times. I asked that they put me in touch with someone else in claims who would be able to help me. They just left messages for Nicole who didn't respond to them or me. When I asked for someone else in Walmart Claims to help me they didn't respond. I don't know what else to do to get my car repaired.

on 8/8/23 i took my car to the Walmart located in bradley illinois for a oil change and tire rotation after a hour and a half the front desk said my car was ready. when i went out to the car i did not want to start! then it did not want to run! the Saturn Vue had been running perfectly and was well maintained. i went back to the service desk and asked what happened to the car explaining in wont run right. . and made bad noise asking what happened. they said they'd bring it back in have have their best guys get on it. the returned the car to me again a hour or two later but it barely ran and was making bad noise. i drove it 10 minutes away to my mechanic shop Levi's Garage in Bourbonnais. they checked and said to leave the car as it was almost a blown engine. i explained what happened and they said the oil was overfilled and no oil filter was installed! the had to repair the engine and timing belts due to the damage caused by Walmart! the bill totaled $1777.93. i tried to call the Bradley Walmart many times and the person answering the phone if someone did answer would tell me no manger was available and someone would call me back within the day. nobody ever called me. . i went to the Walmart service dept. and asked for the manger and again nobody was available to take my complaint. this went on for a couple months Walmart just blowing me off! i was calling the Walmart corp claims service also and left many messages but nobody ever called me back. . also the Walmart headquarters in Arkansas as there is also the Lexington Ky claims center where i received no reply from. i became aggressive with the Bradley Walmart and the agreed to take my complaint and make us wait a couple hours to file out the paperwork! finally the case manger responded stating it took to long to file the complaing and there was no evidence or facts that the damages was a result of the auto service! Walmart appears to operate a criminal enterprise. I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN AND DISABILED PERSON

Worst store experience ever followed by the worst customer service experience ever. The way I have been both bullied and ignored explains why I strongly recommend no one take their vehicle to a WalMart even for their most basic needs and why WalMart has lost a customer for life. I took my primary vehicle into store #802 for a basic oil change in order to comply with my newly-obtained engine warranty. A poorly-trained employee negligently broke off a 15" section of suction hose and it dropped deep into the engine. About 1.5 hours later, WalMart first informed me of this, and asked which towing company I wanted to hire to tow it to wherever I was going to pay for the repair(s) .Due to the lateness of the hour and the busyness of the Chevrolet dealership, I was without my primary vehicle for the next 13 days (and also made late for work, where I was the supervisor for 30 people). We all knew at the time that the engine repair could not even be started in that first week due to the repair facilty's busy schedule. However, after the first few days of Claim #******* I was being bullied/pressured to close the claim based only on a repair estimate and 7 days "loss of use". WalMart Claims Service kept ignoring me and the most basic facts of the claim and pressured me to accept their offer and close out the claim. Meanwhile, no one knew how much damage had in fact been done by the melted plastic falling into the engine or how long I would be without my primary vehicle. The initial repair, as well as any further repair clearly voided my newly-obtained engine warranty. Multiple calls to the Claims rep went unheeded. I ended up paying for all of the repairs myself and finally got my primary vehicle back 13 days after taking it into WalMart.. Since then, they've refused to budge on their original bullying offer to close the claim based on their negligence and completely unrealistic original estimate and continue to ignore me, forcing me to soon file this in Court.
