In October 2023 I commissioned Coast to Coast carports, salesman **** ***** (order * **********) to erect a metal building. After the building was ordered and down payment of $4378.50 and $3140.00 for a total of $7518.50 was paid on 16 Nov. 2023 I was told the building would be delivered and erected as soon as the permitting and drawings were complete, I worked through this painful process with ******. Once this was complete in ~September of 2024 my project was handed off to ******* in scheduling/customer service. After multiple attempts to get the building scheduled for delivery with Darla via phone and email, my last verbal communication with her was October of 2024, and email responses have now stopped. I have now been attempting to communicate with **** ****** *Administrative Assistant * after getting her name and request to contact her before contacting BBB but I have not received a response yet except for a "out of office" during the Jan 2025 Holiday. I have all receipts and order information along with email trail from beginning to present. Please assist. Sincerely ******* ****Business response

On May 10th 2024 I had decided to move forward with purchasing a 30x70 Metal Building from Coast to Coast Carports. The cost of the building when installed would be a total of $27,833.75. They required a Down Payment of $5009.18 which I paid immediately to ensure I would receive the building in a reasonable time. It is now September 25 2024 and I still don't have the Building or an estimated ETA. I have been in contact with the schedulers, and they are now saying they have a hard time getting crews in Northern Montana due to legal reasons. This was never discussed at the time when they accepted my down payment(they had my address). I really need to get the building installed to protect my $29,000 concrete slab before winter strikes.Business response

I was told I would have my building in 4 to 6 weeks. It has been 2 months. Still can't get a delivery date. When I ask for my money back they say they are keeping 10% of what I paid. I paid in full when I purchased the building. That's almost 840 dollars. The keep telling me that they can't give me a delivery date and it could take up to 6 months. But you read the contract and it ses it will be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks. I really need some help hereBusiness response

In November of 2022 we reached out to erect a building. We agreed upon a building, put down $8744.34 with ********** ***** (dealer) and then Coast to Coast/GetCarPorts withdrew $4656.45 on Jan 13, 2023 for a down payment on the building and another $2725.00 on 2/8/2023 for the plans. Said the plans would only take 10 weeks and soon after that, the building would be erected. According to our contact at **********, he gave us interim plans to get the concrete poured because everything else will be a quick turn around and we would want that done so that they could build without delay. Come to find, the plans took well beyond 10 weeks and were completely wrong. We had certain specifications, due to what we wanted to use the building for and city code, and not only did they not meet that, the building didn't fit on the concrete slab that we just paid to have poured. ********** tried to accomodate, but couldn't and issued a refund for the $8744.34. Coast to Coast/GetCarPorts told us they would submit their refund in July 2023 and I have been fighting to get it ever since. They claim only one person can issue the refund and her name is Monica. She refuses to return phone calls or respond to emails. Coast to Coast/GetCarPorts have been giving me the run around for almost a year.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: They have been "checking on" my refund for over a year now. If I am able to get a response from anyone in this company, it is that they are ALWAYS "checking on" it. The only response I will accept from this company is: "We overnighted the check to you. We see that you received it and it was accepted by your bank."
Sincerely,

I pastor a small church and we ordered a carport for our church bus in February 2024. After 3 months of no delivery we requested a refund. I have called them numerous times and given various responses such as the refund will be mailed Friday (this was three weeks ago), I’ve been told the lady responsible for writing the refund checks doesn’t accept phone calls, she’s always away from her desk, we will call you back today, one excuse after another. These people incompetent at best and fraudulent at worst. I will pursue this until I get the church’s money back.Business response

We purchased our overhang on March 8th 2024. The sales guy we were working with originally said it would be 4-6 weeks for installation when I specifically asked how long it would be. I feel that coast to coast hasn’t been honest from the beginning and it’s very disappointing as a customer. At 4 weeks I tried calling to only be ignored multiple times. When I finally got a hold of someone they said it was with scheduling and they had pulled our file pulled and we would hear from someone soon. A week passed by and I called since I didn’t hear anything back. They keep saying it’s with scheduling which makes ZERO sense to me as to why we don’t have a date if it’s with scheduling. Honesty goes a long way and I just want to be told the truth. Are you waiting for other overhangs to be ordered in our area? Are you waiting on materials? Can’t be that since the last time I spoke with someone they said they aren’t waiting on anything for us. Coast to coast - As a customer success manager, your communication has to be better. Be honest and tell your clients how long it’s truly going to take up front. Especially when they are spending 10k plus.Business response

We ordered a shed in Sept. 2022. The shed was constructed in Sept 2023 without a 10X10 drive through door. We will come back and install the door when it comes in. We’ve contacted them at least once a week to see when they would install the door. They set up a date to install and no one showed up and no one called to let us know they wouldn’t be there. We contacted them to find out why they did not show up. We contacted the agent as well. He also has contacted them weekly as to when they will install the door. The only response we get is they will contact us when the door is available. This has gone on for 3 months and we still do not have the door or a date of instillation. We paid in full when building was first erected in September of 2023. Total amount $16970.00. We would just like to have the work finished.Business response

I want to apologize in the delay of getting your repair taken care of. At this moment, we are waiting on a shipment of doors to come in. As soon as they do, our scheduling department will contact you to schedule the repair.
