I made a purchase on 5/31 of flowers for my partner to get delivered the next day. I did not get an email confirmation but did get a notification from my bank they charged me. It’s now 6/1 and I cannot get ahold of anybody at the store. No one will pick up the phone. I believe I’ve been scammed. I love small businesses which is why I chose this one…but it’s been a terrible experience.

            ********

We can certainly understand your frustration over this situation. Although we are the merchant of record for orders placed on the florist's websites, we do not take floral orders, create arrangements, or deliver them. However, we do want to help you resolve the problem.

We found order ********* and believe this is the order in question. The order was placed on May 31, at 4:53 pm (CST), on the Maryland Heights Florist's website, using a Master Card ending in ****. The order was canceled on June 1, 2024, at 8:12 am. (CST). We refunded the order amount of $159.69 to the credit card (Mastercard ending in ****). This refund can take up to 10 days to appear on your credit card. The refund transaction ID is *********

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call ***** ******* at ************ for assistance.

I ordered a dozen Free Spirit roses on February 4, 2024, for delivery to Georgetown address on 2/14/24. I subsequently learned from the recipient that the wrong roses were sent (in face, ones she did not like much, but put the best face on). When I called ********** ****** (*******) on Tuesday the 20th, he told me he needed to talk to the designer about what happened. I called again today, the 24th, to find out if there was more information. Basically, it sounds like some of their order did not come in, and they substituted the roses. It was pointed out that their website says this is a possibility. The main reason I ordered so early would be to avoid that scenario. I am even more frustrated by the response. I believe this business should tell customers that they are substituting before they do so, giving a chance to change the order if needed. I have used this place before and they have been good... something seriously changed here in customer service and experience. I would like to get partial credit back, up to 50.00, for the problem and the time I have spent trying to get this resolved.

            ******,

We are sorry that your flower-buying experience was a frustrating one. Flower Shop Network develops and hosts websites for florists. Although we are the merchant of record for orders placed on these florists' websites, we do not take floral orders, create arrangements or deliver them. The florist whose website you placed the order on is the one who designs and delivers the order to the intended recipient. Every flower-buying experience should be a good one.

In this case, the order ******** was placed on the website of ********** *******

Please let us know if you need help resolving your issue with the florist.

You can contact ***** ***** or *** ***** with the information at *************
