    I purchased a 2019 ****** from Cardinale Way Mazda and they forced me to buy a warranty for paint and fabric for **** dollars as a non-negotiable purchase. Now that I don't have my ****** and I can't get my warranty's worth of service, I would like to get full refund. My car was traded in with ************ in February 2022. If the subject of the warranty is no longer in my possession, the warranty should no longer be in force and I deserve my money back.The dealer is really difficult to work with and rude so I appreciate the BBB help.

    Good morning,

     

    The $3,000 is not just paint protection it has multiple other items which are non cancelable items in the $3,000. It would be window tint, nitrogen tires, door edge guards and cup guards, 6 month guarantee on engine and powertrain with BG product and seven years of interior exterior protection. These are noncancelable items.

    Hi,

    I dont own the car anymore, so you cannot satisfy your end of the warranty regardless of what it includes. When a car that has the warranty is sold to a new owner, the warranty is refunded. Please refund as requested.

    Good morning,

    I think the misunderstanding is items that come with the car. For an example tires come with the car and just because you did not use the full use of the tires doesn't mean I have to cut you a check back for the tire portion you didn't use. Window tint is on the vehicle and can't be cancelled. I hope this is making sense and I know the response is just give me my money back but that is not how it works. If it was an extended warranty then that would be a portion that you would get back but these are not extended warranties.

    Hi there,

    The warranty in the amount of **** was sold to cover paint and fabric wear and tear through out the life of the car. Again, the car that I bought on February 5th that that warranty covers has been traded in to ************. You cannot perform any of the paint and fabric repairs because I no longer have the car as guaranteed by the warranty. I am entitled to a refund because I dont own the car. You cant fix the pain or fabric on a car that was traded. You are getting 3k for a service you no longer can perform. I traded the car two weeks after purchase. This is ridiculous coming from a dealership that prides itself being ********* and honest. Wow.
