            Never received my first months statement till the day before and was hand delivered to the post office. Desk lady and apparent supervisor constantly contradicted themselves neither could answer any questions nor explain the reason.

            Arizona Water ** for *********** ** area changed their pay by phone system starting Jan 2023. I managed to pay by phone for Jan 2023 and Feb 2023, I've been paying the water bill by phone for over 3 years with zero issues until now. When I enter correct account number I get cutoff on last 2 numbers, when I used another cell phone to attempt to solve the problem and pay this bill I received a constant Busy signal...Why? I went to the ** Water Company in *********** but they only accept cash not my debit card? Again why is this happening after 3 years of my paying this water bill with zero lates. Nobody at the ** water company seems to know?

            As a general note, Arizona Water Company (AWC) is a regulated water utility whose terms, conditions, and tariffs are regulated by the Arizona ********************** (ACC). Below is AWCs response to this customers complaint.


            AWC has no record of our automated payment system having any issues. The automated operator will instruct the customer to enter their account number and to use an asterisk (*)as the hyphen replacement and the last digit of their account number. If a customer does not enter the account number as instructed after 3 failed attempts the call will be terminated.


            The automatic payment system is available for customers to use 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Therefore, a busy signal will not be generated when a customer calls in. An automated operator will always be available to assist with their payments.

            The customer may visit AWCs website at ****************************************************************** for additional payment options.
