We reserved a room for check in on September 28, 2023. We arrived to find a room had not been reserved for handicapped accessibility, upon request we were told it would be about 30 minutes to clean room number 119. We returned and entered the non smoking room to find it rancid with smoke fumes. The room was filthy with extensive water damage throughout. I began to pull back the bedding when I noticed bed bug feces all over the box springs. We immediately backed out and went to the office. Man working the desk began to argue that it’s other bug feces, not bed bugs. Instead of arguing I requested a refund so I could find a safe place to stay. He denied the refund. Bed bugs are not a small issue, they are an epidemic and a health risk.

I patronized Landmark Lookout Lodge in late November 2021 and was offered a complimentary weekend stay to allow them to give them another try. We had to brush out teeth in the bathtub that filled up with shin-high water. There was no cold water at the sink and hot water was scolding hot. (Health issue). Housekeeping left crumpled up dirty linens on the corner of the bed and left soiled linens on the bed. Free breakfast promised was not honored even though breakfast was served. We were told we could get to-go breakfast since we had an early morning tour scheduled. After my initial email that I was instructed to send went unanswered, and many attempts for follow up, we were finally comped the free weekend. I’ve called to get that scheduled and am now, again, after attempts to hear back from someone, am now being told to basically * **** that person who promised is fired. I was originally intending on reporting this immediately, but really wanted to see if they would make it right. I have numerous email messages to support position.
