    I bought a car cover over 5 years and it ripped and deteriorated, I have bought 4 different covers for 4 different cars from them. I had 1 replaced already for $30.00 that they said was for shipping now they want $80.00 more than 1/2 price for a new one. Shipping must have went up??

    Over 5 years ago I purchased a LIFETIME cover from Carautocovers.com. In this time the first one lasted only 3 years. I was required to pay a prorated amount for a replacement. The second cover lasted about the same amount of time and again I had to pay a prorated amount. The cover I recently received early summer 2024 is already falling apart. I want a full refund of ALL expenses I paid to this company going back to my first cover purchase.

    I would like the 5 layer cover although I believe this is the cover I am having issues with. 

    When sending the new cover provide proof I have the 5 layer cover.

    This is my second complaint. I agreed to full replacement with a 5 layer truck cover. Now they want to charge me $69. This truck cover is NOT lasting a few months and it is time to refund me ALL that I have spent including original cost of $200 and last replacement of $69. After I agreed to a free cover now this company wants to charge me which will cover their actual cost of cover. *****, from **********************, has emailed me numerous times and stated to call him. I have called 3 times and left voice mail. Absolutely no response.

    When I purchased the car cover it came with a lifetime warranty, it never mentioned I needed to pay for shipping on the warranty product. Now the vendor says I must pay for shipping on the warranty product. I don't think I should pay for shipping, it was never mentioned when I first purchased the product. Original order number ********* Also the cover was one size smaller than required. I have a Monte ***** SS, the original cover was to short and never covered the car properly. My "free" replacement under the warranty should be for the correct larger size.

    When I purchased the car cover it never mentioned I had to pay $30 for shipping and handling.  During my correspondense with company it said since the covers are now made in ******, this is why I now have to pay shipping and handling. 

    No where when I purchased the cover did it say I must pay for shipping and handling from ******.

    After multiple attempts to getting some sort of resolution to the poor quality of the covers that I purchased, I finally got a hold of *****, the owner of the company he told me to go back and continue sending emails, which just is a loop to not do anything this company is a scam and the product is extremely poor

    we told you to send an email with pictures of the cover showing the damage with the order number which you did not have to begin with. once that is done, we will replace the cover. We have procedures in place for a reason and we ask for them to be respected and we abide by them.

    I rejected their offer because theyre insinuating that the first product I bought was a high-quality five part cover that fit the car. It was neither! The pictures provided should be good enough for that. If theyd like a sample of the material, I can cut a piece of it out and send it to him. Their response was to replace what they sent last time with what they sent last time! I think this is a scam because the product I receive neither fit nor was a quality five ply cover.
    Additionally, I found the company almost impossible to deal with with the exception of one lady who offered to help me find the invoice number. I was then informed by ***** who says he is the owner of the company that she was to be reprimanded for doing that! I dont want anything above all else. I do not want these people to have a good rating with the Better Business Bureau when this is the way they are. Thank you for your help ********************

    we apologies you feel you have been treated unfairly but this is our policy the warranty is registered under the order number. to take advantage of the warranty you must have the order number the agents should not give you the order number as this goes against our policy. Furthemore the cover you have received is 5 layer of material the layers are bonded and compressed together so we understand that our naked eye might perceive them as less then 5 layers. our offer still stands and we are willing to replace the cover.

    Do not buy from them. Purchased in February 2022, and like other complaints, they sent me the wrong size. I asked for correct size and they offered small discount instead. They informed me taking the discount would void my warranty, which I should've known, just means they don't stand behind their products. 6 months later and the product is deteriorating (confirmed with their reps they're breaking down) It leaves small micro dust and particles all over my car. Not sure if inhaling this is even good, if anything bad comes to my health, I will reach out to my lawyer for sure. DONT BUY THEIR 5 LAYER. It's no different and doesn't work well / doesn't last long. I contacted them for support on their product and they won't stand behind it. They told me my warranty was voided and they will not assist me...should've returned when the initial issue came up.loss of $139.99

    There would be no need for you to provide a discount if you originally shipped the correct item. I've never dealt with a company that voided warranty because of a partial refund for their mistake.

    This item was purchased on or about October 7, 2021. After some 5 or so months of usage, the item is in disrepair. I contacted the Seller on or about May 2, 2021 to inform them of of what I assumed was an unfortunate situation. I also submitted a photo. Seller agreed that item required replacement however, to my dismay, they requested a $30.00 shipping fee. Ordinarily, I would have readily complied however, being that the car cover is only months old; is obviously defective; and, is in disrepair after a brief ownership, I requested that they incur the cost of shipping a functional car cover which I should have received from the outset. They have refused.I purchased this item in good faith because it boasted an A+ BBB accreditation. However, upon review of the complaints on your website, I now know that this Company is notorious for selling faulty products with the promise of a lifetime guarantee/warranty. After a few months, the products disintegrates/doesn't fit properly/incessantly sheds. Nevertheless, the unwitting Customer purchases these items in good faith. The Seller then offers replacement but at cost to the Customer. The Customer becomes trapped in a vicious cycle of item failure and associated shipping costs for product failures that occurs through no fault of their own.     The product is faulty. It is in disrepair after only months of use. See other similar complaints on the BBB website. You are being allowed to sell a substandard product under the guise of a lifetime guarantee/warranty. With that, the Customer is forced to pay $30.00 shipping or more for a product that fails after only a few months of use. This is a scam that needs to be stopped. A product that cost approximately $150.00 should not malfunction after only a few months of use and a pretty mild winter in DC.
