The transaction occurred on December 17, 2023 at Orogold Cosmetics located at ******************************************* was misled, omitted, misinformed and pressured into making a purchase that cost $7232.00.I am seeking a refund for the purchase as I was lied to and mislead about the ******* prime red light therapy device and I was pressurized using high pressure sales tactics to make the purchase.I was lured into the store by a sales associate that goes by the name ****** (*****) to show me how their products work. ****** lied to me about the credentials of their skin care specialist *********************, as he stated she is renowned worldwide as she is accredited and very well known in the skin care industry. He told me that he wants me to talk to her about my skin but he cant make any promises as she only deals with VIP clients that book with her 4-6 months in advance yet in this particular moment in time she was readily available to meet with me. I then talked to ***** and she informed me that I had pigmentation and sun damage that needed to be corrected. She informed me that I need to purchase the Genesis ***** device and that it comes with a Lifetime warranty. She continuously stated the device has a lifetime warranty and that any issues with the device would be fully covered at no expense. Once she told me the price of the device I said I cannot afford the device as it is too expensive. She told me that the skincare products and the Genesis ***** (red light therapy device) are high end medical grade products and that I am not used to the costs associated. This was also a lie as the Orogold Cosmetics website states that Orogold Cosmetics products are intended for general beauty and wellness purposes and that they are not of the medical nature. I have also checked Zero Gravity Skins website to see if the Genesis ***** is a medical grade red light therapy device and it is also not a medical grade product. ***** continued to pressure me to buy the device. She informed me that there were finance options which she failed to mention the financing costs associated (interest). She then offered me a special deal where I just purchase the device and I will receive products and treatments if I was willing to take before and after result pictures. She continued to state the machine is new and the best technology. I felt very pressured to make the purchase. I told her I need some time to think to make an informed decision and she refused to give me time but rather her and ****** continued to excessively pressure me into making the purchase. At her direction I reluctantly made the purchase of $7232.00. After leaving the store I then received the warranty details via email. Upon arrival to my house later that evening, I reviewed the warranty document I received and I noticed that the warranty was not a lifetime warranty but rather a limited lifetime warranty which was not what was discussed verbally to me. I also was not notified that the warranty is only a manufacturers warranty and that the manufacturer is located outside of ****** and any warranty issues are accompanied by additional fees that I will have to incur, contrary to what they verbally advertised. One product that was also a part of the deal is called Elevio gel for ******* prime. On the product label it indicates gel for ******* prime. ***** demonstrated that the device is to be used with the Elevio gel. However, the manufacturers website mentioned that the device is to be used with no products otherwise the Warranty is void. This is misleading and contradictory to what they demonstrated and informed me of in person. As a result, I cannot/will not use this product which will void all warranty and also incur a safety risk to my health and well being. I am very disappointed with the business' customer service and the experience I have had in purchasing the product with the false information advertised. As such I must refuse to use this product because of all the misleading information which has now given me many doubts about the SAFETY and accuracy of the product. After my experience with Orogold Cosmetics and after being able to conduct my own research I feel like I have been cheated as the Orogold Cosmetics sales associates lied and manipulated me into making this purchase. I now understand I was highly misled, misinformed and, at the time, bombarded with the high pressure sales tactics. I also did some research on ********************* ********** Specialist) to find her credentials and I could find nothing but rather I found many negative reviews outlining the same displeasure and experience including being lied to about a VIP skin care specialist (misleading information/high pressure sales tactics). My research shows that there have been a number of cases listed on the Better Business Bureaus website that outline negative consumer experiences of being taken advantage of in the same manner. I find this extremely unprofessional, unethical and coercive. According to my research the Orogold Cosmetics is known to use coercion and high pressure sales tactics to make individuals make purchases. I went back to the store in less than ******************************************************************************************************** due to their no refund policy they are not obligated to give me a refund. ********************* rather told me that they had a cancer patient that also purchased the same/similar tool and they were unable to use the device due to their cancer/radiation treatment and even then the business did not provide the consumer a refund. I have also found on the Orogold Cosmetics website that there is a cooling off period after a purchase is made and that a customers satisfaction is important to Orogold Cosmetics. In the cooling off period there is an option to get a refund within 7 days after purchasing, however, they have denied me of the refund when I went back to the store in less than 24 hours. I feel as a consumer I have been taken advantage of, as the sales associates continued to pressurize me by offering me limited time discounts and irrelevant up sells. I told them I needed time to think about making the purchase in order to make an informed decision. They continued to pressure me telling me that I am getting the best deal and were not taking no for an answer. They also informed me that I would not receive a better price than in that moment. They preyed on my imperfections and made me subconscious about my appearance, mislead me and tricked me into purchasing a high dollar item without allowing me to make an informed decision. The high pressure and aggressive sales tactics that the business uses are extremely unethical and very uncomfortable for the consumer. According to the Consumer Bill of Rights, I have the right to fair treatment. I have the right to be free from high pressure sales tactics, being lied to or mislead about a good or service and being taken advantage of when you cannot understand a transaction. I am a victim of high pressure sales tactics and I have been lied to and mislead about the ******* prime red light therapy device I purchased. I also have the right to be protected under the Consumer Protection Act as I was refused the right to seek help as I asked for time to think it over and I was denied that. If I had been given the opportunity to think about the purchase and research the company and its product I would have never made any purchases with Orogold Cosmetics given their poor reputation online and with the Better Business Bureau, as well as the quality of the products they offer. Orogold Cosmetics is known to pressure individuals into making purchases and take advantage of consumers.I have attempted to contact Orogold Cosmetics three times (once in person within 24 hours, via telephone and via email) and have been received with no positive outcome, denying me a refund. The business has not tried to resolve the problem with me. I have since produced written communication to the merchant and I am still waiting on a response. However, I feel like the outcome will be the same as my first two attempts.Initial Complaint

Transaction occurred on 6/25/23. ***** (owner/skin care specialist) pressured my friend and I to purchase skin care devices totaling $7,968.75 each with the promise that in 2 weeks at our next facial appointment we would be refunded the purchase in exchange for bringing the old devices we had previously purchased and allowing her to use our before and after photos. She also promised us 2 years of free skin care products. We were uncomfortable with the purchase and went to the store on 6/30 to find it closed. We were given a confirmed facial appointment on 7/9/23, when we arrived the store was still closed. We have called, left messages and texts to all known telephone #'s. We have not received any response. ***** scammed us to purchase the products , knowingly she was in town to close the store. We want to return the purchase for a full refund.Initial Complaint

While on a mini-vacation in ********, my husband and I were lured into a store by a woman with a product that she tried on both of us that could make fine lines disappear. Of course, she used a significant amount on one area on each of us, so the results were striking. We were told to use one pump on two small areas a couple times a week; however, after, over a month I see no improvement. I feel the product is misrepresented. I spent $265 for nothing. They use high pressure tactics to get you to buy even more expensive items which we did not fall for. It also irritates my eyes. At one point, she tried to sell a device that cost around 5k and her boss was willing to bring the price down to $800. That's when we knew they were trying to scam us. Also, we were told the product is *** approved, but it is not.Initial Complaint

I ordered a ring from Mazalti and NEVER received it. I paid over $220 for this ring and it says it takes **** days from the time you order it to arrival at your address. That never happened and they have absolutely no contact information on their website or anywhere else. That website is most definitely a scam and needs to be shut down. Im a police officer for 9 years now and Im very good at pointing out fakes, fraud, and scams. This website is well built though and theyve done a good job at making it look legit. They TEXTED me from a random email saying my ring cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address. My address definitely is a valid address. I know this because I LIVE HERE! They need to be shut down immediately. The amount of money theyre getting from people and not providing them with the jewelry is CRIMINAL. Please please do something about this website and shut it down.Initial Complaint

My mother ***** was in the ***************** and was approached by a sales person from introstem. They got her to buy a $15 item, then kept her for another 20 minutes until she purchased a $380 item, then they kept her in the store for another **** hours until she purchased a $3800 item. They say it is non refundable and she signed a paper that proved that. She is almost 80 years old and is in the early stages of dementia. She called me after crying and fearful saying they would not let her out of the store until she purchased the item. They will not refund the unit for anything but store credit. My mom does not even wear makeup, so what would she do with $4400 worth of lotion? We found out that this has happened to 2 other older ladies in the area. This place specifically targets elderly people and takes advantage of them with vulture like sales until they get their money. This is elder abuse and not ok. They have a legal loophole with their setup, but it is still injustice and wrong. I do not want to see other people scammed and defrauded. Please do not shop at this place!Initial Complaint

4/5/2023 Dear Sirs:While on vacation 10/12/22 in ****** I was lured into a store selling anti-aging products. The products were amazing and very expensive and they talked me into $7,539.26 of product. The product was to be shipped to me, Order Number 1547-4208LCI. My receipt did not reflect that the product would be shipped. Once I returned home, I had not received any shipping information so I called the phone number on the business card ************ (I think on 10/19/22). I was informed that I needed to call the store directly. I called and left a message for *** regarding the order, no return call was received, so on 10/24/22 I called again and someone guaranteed I would get a response. I finally received a text message with the tracking number ************ on 10/24/22 from ***. I let him know that I changed my mind and ask for any special instructions for the return, this was through text. He said I would need to call the customer service number on the business card. Once again, I called the number and was told that each store handled their own returns and some products purchased were not supported by *********. I texted *** again and he responded by saying call the customer service number on the business card. Once I received the tracking number I notified I wanted to refuse the shipment. After the holidays I realized I had never received a refund for the shipment.1/5/23 I contacted ***** and they said the shipment was returned to the shipper and it was signed for 10/31/22 @12:17p on the return tracking number of ************ (see attached).Since I normally get the run around on the phone I sent an email 1/5 to the email address on the receipt to inquire about the refund for the shipment. I also sent a 2nd email on 1/9 asking when I could expect a response. No response on either email.I tried several times over the past few months to call both numbers, it always prompts me to leave a message. Today 1/19/23 I googled search for an additional contact and sent an inquiry to the main ***************** I did receive a confirmation email immediately, and within 24 hours received a response that I needed to work with the local store, however she did ask for a copy of my receipt. The receipt was sent but I never received any follow up. I sent an additional email to see if additional information was needed with no response. I sent the same email again 2/1/23. They did finally respond that I need to work with the store where the purchase was made.I also left a VM on the ************ both 1/19 and 1/20. I received VM from both messages that said that I needed to work with the location in ****** because they are independently owned. I have never received any additional follow up from the store although I have left messages. On 2/1/2023 I called the ************ and asked for a manager, no manager on duty, I explained my situation and was told by (*****) he would get it to the business office and they would call me back within 2 days. I told him this has been going on since Oct. 2022 and he said he would make sure I received a call back. No return call was ever received.I am attaching copies of my documentation and request assistance with resolving my refund request.Thank you ********************* CC: Better Business BureauInitial Complaint

The woman who sold the Introstem products at the store in ********* ** of the same name took advantage of a person with a disability. He did not understand what was happening and before he realized the entire situation, she charged him over ****** for products he does not need or want. She tried to upsell him with a laser light machine as well. That was declined thank goodness. Now she won't help him get his money back or acknowledge any wrongdoing. Shameful business practices. A refund is desired, and no one will contact us about that process or anything. It is wrong. It is shameful. It should be criminal. Terrible store, terrible representation, terrible salesperson. No receipt was given just a cell number to call if anything was needed. SCAM!!!!! She should have known better and done better. Good thing he has me to work with him and try and correct this scenario.Initial Complaint

I tried out the product Bionyx, while at the ***************** Fishing show. I purchased over $300 in product as it seemed to work for me. 2 hrs later, my face became red and swollen. I have been trying to return it since then, and they refuse. It is NOT OPENED. Still in the original bag.It was sold by the **R-S Real state distributor. When I enter that info into BBB site, it takes me to this company. When I click through, the product they sell is quite similar to this, w/the same fonts/pictures, w/o the name. (It is *******).
