I purchased a digital license upgrade from NewEgg that will not activate. Specifically a new laptop for a customer that paid up front for the upgrade, but the Windows activation service tells me that the key is invalid and to contact the reseller. I have communicated my issue with NewEgg and the only response I received is that they will communicate it to NewEgg (chat).Business response

They stated that the items where delivered to my address by ups and i did not get any packages. Newegg will not refund me my money or anything. I just want my money back because i paid for those items and still have not received them. I do not think they tried to resolve the issue, i submitted a complaint and they asked ups to look into it UPS said they delivered the package but when i went to look for the packages they where not there. Which means some one stole my packages. So i didn't get the stuff I paid for I should either get replacement of my money back. On 12/5/2021 Order #XXXXXXXXX, I ordered 3 products from NewEgg.com, a Intel Core I-9 processor, a Corsair power supply and an ASUS Motherboard for $*******. Two out of the 3 products arrived at my house but the Intel Core I-9 was not in the box. All 3 items should have been in the box. The box was not tampered with in any way that I could tell, just 1 product was missing. I immediately let NewEgg know about the missing item and they put in a claim. That claim was denied because they said the box has been delivered. That is true, it was delivered but 1 product was missing. I then filed a claim with Chase, my credit card company and they also reached out to NewEgg and the claim was denied. On 12/13, while waiting for my resolution from NewEgg, I purchased the Intel Core I-9 because I needed this component for an Xmas present for my son. NewEgg should have several ways to prove that they placed all 3 items in the box, cameras in their warehouse, the weight of the box, if the processor wasn't in the box, it would have been lighter and an inventory discrepancy that they can see, they have 1 more than they think they have. I should not have to pay the $458.99 for a product I did not receive and I need your help resolving this issue with them. Thank you.Business response

I purchased an ***** laptop from Newegg. I received an email stating it was delivered but i never received the item. I contacted them to let them know i never received it. They told me they had to reach out to the seller to confirm. I never heard from them after that so i called them back and they told me the seller said the carrier said they delivered it and an *********** signed for it. I let the representative know i have no idea who that person is as i live by myself and that is not my name. They told me they will reach back out to the seller with the information i gave them but I never hear back from them and every time i call the they send me the same email telling me the seller says it was delivered. I called and spoke to a supervisor named **** and he told me to call him back Friday February 25 if i have not had a resolution because its been over two weeks and he will resolve it by refunding my funds. I called him back the day he told me to call and he told one of the representatives to tell me he's busy so I'll have to file a claim. It's very exhausting dealing with this this company and i would just like to get a refund for the item i never received.Business response
