    I received this letter and I want to know how this company obtained my mortgage information. I spoke to a representative and she knew a lot about my personal information.

    We recieved your inquiry via the BBB and are happy to address your concerns regarding how we obtain information. 

     

    As a licensed FHA approved lender, we obtain information from many platforms and institutions. With these tools, we have access to both software and data that helps us determine when someone may qualify for a program that we offer. I imagine you recieved a letter because our systems must have determined that you were eligible for a program we offer. It must have then sent you the letter as a result of the information we have in conjunction with public records. Rest assured that the data we have is limited to general information. Not to mention, we also take your privacy VERY seriously. 

     

    If you would like more information about how to limit the information lenders can obtain, I would be happy to show you how you can opt out of a lot of the solicitations you must recieve. I hope this helps. Feel free to give me a call.

    My mother contacted Ennkar about refinancing her reverse mortage since they were the original company that helped her. Chase was her first ******** stopped contacting her back after he started the refinancing. We then were directed to ***********************. She was charged a 3rd fee out of the blue by a Ennkar employee who will not answer her phone or return a message. ***** told us to dispute the charge which we didnt want to do knowing the process. We just wanted it refunded which he promised it would be. *********************** promised a easy process to get her through the refinancing. He never responds in a timely manner if he responds at all. He never called back on the time he guaranteed even after giving him more then a few days past the timeline. Numerous voicemails went unanswered before he acted like he lost my contact information. He kept saying things were submitted or processed just to find out nothing ever was fully submitted. The last promise was that a appraisal was ordered and we would get a call in 1-2 days. He never submitted it... He lied directly to me. Then he makes excuse after excuse on why it wasnt going smoothly. At this point I asked to have all charges refunded back to my mothers account for the 2 appraisals and a measurement fee. He again promised and said multiple times on a recorded line that he would get her all three charges refunded because of all the issues. But no call bacs. It took calling **** at the ******* office for ***** to finally call back again saying a check would be mailed by the 15th of March but he would try sooner. He would call us back the next day. Its been 3 weeks now and still no call. Have left 5 voicemails with him and **** with no one returning calls. Worst communication i have ever dealt with. You cant even use their contact email as it says its no longer valid.... We just want clarity on when she will be refunded...

    We appreciate the borrower bringing this to our attention. I have spoken with and emailed the borrower and will handle this personally. The borrower was upset because the appraiser stated the home did not meet FHA guidelines. Unfortunately, we can not control what the appraiser says in the report. Appraisal fees are NOT charged by Ennkar. Appraisers are a third party and are the responsibility of the applicant. We are working with **** to arrive at a satisfactory conclusion.
