On Sept 6th, '24 my car was towed from ************ Senior Apartments because it was over the line about 12". EP Towing towed my car to its storage yard, **********************************. According to CVC ***** there were multiple violations that occurred making this an illegal tow. EP towing cannot remove a vehicle from private property without first obtaining the written authorization from the property owner/manager. The property owner/manager shall be present at the time of removal and verify the alleged violation. A written notice of violation needs to be given, and 96 hours need to have elapsed before a car can be towed. My car was towed at 12:30am. No one called the *****************. No written authorization was given to the *****************. No property owner/manager was there to verify the parking violation and validated that it was a legal tow. EP Towing did not have authorization to tow this vehicle. The ***************** took it upon themselves to drive through ************ and tow my car at will. My car was not parked unlawfully, it was not interfering with entrances or exiting, fire lanes or fire hydrants and it was not interfering with either vehicle parked on either side of the car. Therefore, the ***************** had no legal right to tow this car. ************ never contacted EP towing; therefore, EP towing had no right to drive through ************ and tow this car at will. I asked EP Towing for a copy of the written authorization for this tow and I was told by ***** ******** that he towed over 400 vehicles, and he did not know who authorized this car to be towed and even if he did, he would not tell me or provide me with the authorization. ***** was entirely uncooperative, inconsiderate, rude, and belligerent. Several ************ tenants have been towed by EP towing. EP towing is towing these cars at will. EP Towing is preying on the elderly and illegally towing their cars and then extorting ****************************** fees from senior citizens.

The company towed my car and my sisters building. They did not inform us who had the car. They charge $500 for 8 hours in the tow yard. They were extremely rude. They did not check to see if the car was registered. Who the register owner was? They let anyone just go in there. They didn't check for anything with the car. They've already been dropped by the .Better business bureau, The employees were drunk when we were there, and we're extremely rude. The tow trucks were parked on a red. No parking at any time sign on the opposite way.

My car was unlawfully towed by EP towing. My son was parked by no other parking spaces and they towed the car from his apartments in early morning hours. EP towing said he was double parked, which was a lie and they wouldn't provide a picture. The owner was a complete jerk and kept telling me to shut up or I wouldn't get the car back. This company should be shut down. They are liars and just towing cars for no reason other than being a hole in the wall company.

EP towing scrapped my vehicle and didn't give me sufficient time to pay and retrieve it. While it was a legal tow I suppose based upon my apartment lease, the timing of it was malicious (I moved out 9 days after it got towed). Now EP says they scrapped it because its value was under $500. But checking online and ***** blue book...my used 2000 dodge caravan is worth more than that. EP Towing was very rude and demeaning. They had my car less than 2 weeks and scrapped it without notifying me.

This company towed my car twice in 10 months!! first time in the day time. my apartment is located in the very back corner of my complex and faces an overpass so my unit isnt near the parking lot. I pulled in the fire lane for about ************************************************************************** the car I come back out and my car was gone! I freaked out and I was very upset. When I reached the tow company I explained what had happened and that I was literally only parked there briefly for the convenience of loading up my car and I was not blocking any other vehicles in. The owner was extremely rude and told me tough s*** bud and that I shouldve had my hazard lights on and it wouldnt have been towed I had explained that my mother had just passed away and that was her car she left for me and all our money was going towards a service for my mom. he didnt care one bit he continued to be rude and at one point threatened to hang up and not release the car. I was also informed that the registered owner could only pick the car up , mind you I just lost my mother and the car was in her name she left the car for me. The only other person on the title was my 87-year-old grandmother, who can barely walk and hear. I ended up having to go pick her up and drive all the way down there and inconvenience my elderly grandmother during a hot summer day where elderly people should not be outside and pay $360 all to get my car! The second incident was very similar only differences I am moving out of my apartment now, and I pulled up at 4am the morning! to load my car up with items from upstairs I was less than 10 minutes and came back down in my car was gone again! I called and again the owner was rude as usual and threatened to hang up on me several times. This time I had to pay $500 to release the vehicle because it was so late. This is outrageous! This lot targeted me multiple times and has cost me almost $1000 others park in that spot an they dont tow anyone else!

Hello hope this message finds you well. I had my babies first birthday party and had family gatherings. Two of my family cars were towed at mid night 1:30ish AM and 2:00ish AM. The cars were parked behind my assigned parking spots and not blocking any other residents parking space or exit. There is no red zone, fire lane, fire extinguisher, or any sign where it says dont park by the fence. We went to the tow shop and asked why the car was towed. The owner got made and said dont talk loud with me, I responded I am talking normal and dont care how you feel. He said wait and I will come. I said sure, come and I am waiting. I called ************************************** case the owner tries to go aggressive. The owner showed up with intentions to fight and got aggressive and used racist words and discriminated us because we were wearing Afghan traditional outfits. He realized we are from different religion and started screaming ***** will help you and kept saying ***** ***** with no reason to involve religion or ***** into this matter. Told just to get the * out of my business while we were not even inside his business and were on the side walk. I called my property manager and she said she didnt authorize or know about the tow. Our cars were illegally towed without any valid reason or proof that it was blocking any residents parking spot, exit or way. No signs or warning by fence and no email or awareness from property to the tenants.*our of us missed work today and have loss in wages. Charged us $720 unlawfully and told us the cops is not going help you and the owner left and said the cop is going to tell you its civil issue.I want my money back. That is my hard working money that I worked to provide food and shelter for my family and my newborn. I will attach the pictures which shows no signs of no parking zone or dont park here. Also which shows that the cars were not blocking any exits or residents parking spots. Please kindly help with getting my money back.
