I called thinking this was ****** Airlines. They said yes, they were ****** Airlines and proceeded to charge me for a transaction that is normally free by ****** Airlines. I called and asked that they refund my money. They refused and said I had to wait the next business day. These are extremely deceptive business practices. I demand a refund of $251. It turns out they are a travel agency, and I am paying a middleman for what I could do myself for free.

I booked a flight and the flight was cancelled. When I called what I thought was the airline customer support I got an agent. I specifically asked him if I was dealing with ******* and he said yes (Name is **** ******). He took my original reservation and rerouted me through a nearby city and told me the additional charge was $305 per ticket (3 tickets), which I was OK with as I need to attend my father's funeral. He sent me and email and asked me to agree to the change. Before accepting the change I specifically asked him if I would get a refund for the first tickets and he said YES, I would get an email with the credit amount. When I got the change email I saw a change for Skyhikes for $1140. I asked the agent what that change was for and he said do not worry about it, I would get the credit. I accepted the changed flight on condition that I was getting the credit for my original tickets, $638 per ticket. I have not gotten the email about the credit and no one is answering the phone at Skyhikes. I would like to file a complaint about Skyhikes and request a full refund for the $1140 for the scam they pulled off.

    Dear BBB Team,

We have tried to call this passenger several times to get more clarity about this complaint because according to the official document which was sent & authorized by Ms ***** ********* it does not say any information about the credit from the Airlines. However,  It’s always our intention to provide great customer service to all of our clients and we will do our best to resolve this issue also. However, for that it requires a two way conversation, so please ask passenger to call us at 1888-212-5077 and ask for **** ****** or ******* *****, we would be more than happy to assist her, even we have also responded to her complaint via email from our end already but after that we didn't hear from Ms ***** *********. In the meantime to get more clarity we will also go through with the call recording for better understanding and if we will find any conversation regarding a credit promised from our end then we will definitely resolve this complaint on a priority.

We have also attached the copy of a official document which was authorised by the card holder and as mentioned it does not say anything about any additional credit from the original Flights.

    Thanks & Regards

This business posed online as another business ********** Airlines). They had an agent book a flight posing as a southwest airline agent. Then charged $100 for their service. That is fraud. They do not tell the customer that they are not Southwest and are a travel agency instead.

On 5/6/22, I purchased a round trip from ********* ** to ****** ** on skyhikes website with cost of $591.09. I received an email reflecting my purchase and in this email, it cites that my e-ticket will be sent within 4 hours once my credit card is verified. Also in the email, it later stars if I have not received my e-ticket in 24 hours hours then to contact their 24/7 hours customer service at ************. I attempted to call yesterday, 5/9/22, about 8am and was on hold for 1 1/2 hours. I also emailed skyhikes about the status of my purchase on 5/9/22 after the initial call. I called again at 8pm and was on hold for about 1 hour. I called again on 5/10/22 at about 5am and was on hold, called again at about 9am and was on hold for about 30 minutes. I am looking for a resolution of some sort, either deliver my e-ticket or cancel my order. This trip is for a funeral for my nephew who is being transported from MN to CA and I need to know that I will be able to fly out for the funeral or I need to purchase from a different vendor.
