How is this company still in business? I receive an invoice from them for $58.90 with a phone number to call if there are any issues. After 30 minutes on the phone with a very unhelpful support rep, they tell me I don't have an account with them and I must contact a different company for billing (even though the billing comes direct from them and their number is the support number listed to call with inquiries on the bill). BBB is an absolute scam for rating companies like this an 'A+'. What a joke.WiMacTel Response

Received a collect call from a friend of mine in ********* **, and the phone said that my phone will not accept collect calls. Anyway. WiMacTel charged me $25.00 for only 4 minutes of talk time!!! This occurred on 6/22/23 I want my money back!!!WiMacTel Response

I received a 9 minute collect call and was charged $48 ! I purposely kept my call short because I was afraid of the price. But seriously almost $50 for less than 10 minutes! Then yesterday my son called collect again and I didnt even accept it, I hung up and called him instead and I just saw I was charged $25 for that. We didnt even use your service! I denied the call by hanging up! How can you get away with that?WiMacTel Response

They are stealing money from people and getting away with it, My son called me twice, one call was **** minutes I have a charge of *****, I also was charged ***** for a ***** minute call. With two other pending charges of 25 dollars. How is this even allowed.WiMacTel Response

My son made a collect call from a hospital in **, and before accepting the call, the lady could not tell me what i was being charged for the call, I gave her my credit card number, since we didnt know what happened to our son, was on the phone 4 minutes & got charged $33,98!!!! Went to my bank to dispute charges & now based on all the reviews, a federal investigation is being done. I am a lawyer and this needs to STOP! Truly horrible!WiMacTel Response

I had called a ********** number from East Shore of Lake Del Valle (**********). Since there was no cell connectivity there - I had to use the payphone. I made 2 calls - both lasting less than one minute. and I've been charged $25 and $41.58 for this!! Looking at the frequent complaints here - this looks like a horrible scam company getting away with ripping people off who are in a desperate condition and use a payphone - people only know of this company's tactic once they're charged and then would come here and complain.Desired outcome: Please refund me the excess money you've deducted from my account - the calls are at a maximum $2 per minute .. and I've called a number inside the state - you've charged me as if I've made an international call!!WiMacTel Response
