    I have been a resident of these apartments for 2.5 years. I have requested pest control on several occasions. This complex has a full fledged infestation and they are refusing to address the issue. I have placed several work orders that have not been addressed or even completed. I was left with a hole in the ceiling from a leak in the upstairs unit for over 5 months. I cannot keep dishes or food in the kitchen due to the roaches coming from behind the cabinets and out of the electrical outlets

    I am not able to renew my lease and no reason has been given as to why i can't renew.

    I was a tenant at College Main Apartments in *****, ** from August 2023 to July 2024. When I moved out, I turned in my keys a month early and the property stated that was all I needed to do. When I tried to pay rent the next month, my login credentials no longer worked so I called the property. She stated my account had been transferred to corporate, which would mail me a bill for the last month of rent. The bill reflected an additional $611.15 charge for reletting/termination fee on top of my last month of rent. Because they transferred my account, ********************** ensured that I could not pay the final month of rent without also paying the reletting/termination fee. I had paid everything due in my resident portal prior to moving out and had no means of knowing the sum of the next months rent and utility charges. The paragraph from the lease follows:Reletting Charge. Youll be liable for a reletting charge as listed in Lease Details, (not to exceed 85% of the highest monthly Rent during the Lease term) if you: (A) fail to move in, or fail to give written move-out notice as required in Par. 25; (B) move out without paying Rent in full for the entire Lease term or renewal period; (C) move out at our demand because of your default; or (D) are judicially evicted. The reletting charge is not a termination, cancellation or buyout fee and does not release you from your obligations under this Lease, including liability for future or past-due Rent, charges for damages or other sums due.

    My son ***************************** and ex-girlfriend moved out of this apartment at ***************** 1103. Charges and additional fees occurred are for preparing the apartment for another individual. Charges for things that can not be reached such as 12 foot ceiling fan, not vacuuming, (which was done), extermination due to having a pet. There was multiple concerns that were emailed numerous times that were not fixed while they lived there. While pregnant the ** went out in 100 degree weather. We had to purchase several window units. They went without water while having a newborn at the home. This company is out to take money while putting individuals in unhealthy situations. Unfortunately I do not have the email proof as it was under ******************************* who is no longer involved with my son or our family.

    I was charged for things that were not true. They have charged me for animals I did not have and other charges that was not explained or given me proof. I have attempted to email and call several times since 2020. They will not respond to my emails or calls and reported me to a collection company. I have red proof of the debt but no one will provide me with it. This is against the law and I need someone to do something about this. I am prepared to file a civil suit.

    On 10/01/2023, I was billed for renter's insurance policy I never signed for or agreed to purchase. I have always maintained my own renter's insurance policy with Lemonade. I contacted the site-staff at ********************** Apartments, which is managed ny ********************, and they advised they could not remove the charge and I would have to contact POPIC, LLC. I did so and they received an email with instructions on how to upload my policy to their website. I did so immediately. However they are refusing to refund my money because they "just received my policy on 10/02/2023". I have provided copies of my renter's insurance policy to site staff multiple times either via emailor in person (upon move-in 12/2021). I have experienced this issue repeatedly and I feel it is categorically wrong to be billed for a service I am not receiving and also because I have my own policy and have repeatedly provided it when asked; this has been done a minimum of 5 times whenever a new management company took over, when I moved in back in 2021, and then every other time this bogus fee appears on my legder. Neither ******************** nor POPIC will refund my money. The same issue occured in September 1, 2023 and the site staff corrected the issue and removed the charge. Now they are claiming they don't have the capability to do that. Further, POPIC is claiming they only just recently received my policy. This is not correct, and the charge the contineu to bill me is incorrect as well.

    I moved into Huntington Apartments in 2019 & was always a good tenant. I was even asked to rethink to renew my lease. The property manager hugged me & hated to see me go. I took pictures of a clean apt when I left & was still charged for things that were unfounded. I also took pictures of mold that was in the apt. I researched & found out that as long as the landlord kept retreating the problem, the mold would continue to return. The mold needed to be treated from behind the walls. My ******* both started getting allergies shortly after the mold problem came. After move out, I let the corporate office know about the *********** supported the simple "retreating the mold" but never said the problem would be treated from the inside. DTI Investments really have shocked me with the lies of charging families for things that aren't true & the lack of care they have showed about the mold. Families have to live & maintain a budget and may not be able to afford to just pickup & move such as myself. I am very disappointed that after 4 years, the management would turn out to be this hard hearted. They only care about money but it should be about supporting families with care & honesty. Huntington Apartments DTI did not.

    In the month of August we experienced both bedrooms lose electricity. As soon as it happened we called the on call number and he had said he would be out in 30 mins, an hour later he showed up and fixed the problem not an hour after he left it happened again. There have been several times this has happened. Its been over 3 weeks. They have told us to run extension cords so we would be able to have some sort of power in there. I am disabled, this is a hazard which I have already fallen from. There has been no communication on there end what so ever. I have called several several times and the office never answers! I went to the office to discuss the issue that they were supposed to fix yesterday which I had I made arrangements to have my dog out of the house bc they need access to the whole house. We were gone from 1-5 and come back and nothing was done after being told over and over it would be fixed every time they came out. When I discussed this with the manager she said give me 30 mins and I will call you with more information It is now the next day and we never received that call. There has been several time they said they were coming out to fix it and never show up. At this point we are paying rent and electricity for a apartment that doesnt have electricity in half of it. Something needs to be done. We are fed up of the lack of communication, the lack of fixing things, paying for something that we cant use half of. This needs fixed and we need to come to a solution!

    Bottom apt has maggots and are making their way to other Apts. Dry rot wood cabinets that fall off, floor caving in, plumbing issues, lack of AC air duct maintenance. Refuse ** to move to another unit, very disconcerned with helping to resolve any issues.

    I moved into my apartment 8/1/2023 with my Husband and two daughters (1 & 3 y/o) I have a serious German coach ***** infestation. They are inside of the appliances ********************** I have complained to the leasing office that I need this fixed and my appliances replaced but nothing has been done yet. I have AML a pre existing health condition of Cancer. I am in fear that these pest will cause me to become very sick when I am already battling a disease. I can only provide one photo of dead baby roaches in my refrigerator door because I am up constantly cleaning the fridge.
