Purchased a gift basket online for $160 based off the items in the description. The item I received was nowhere near what I purchased when I emailed them to let them know that they said there was a disclaimer that they put that they substitute other items that means they substitute the whole entire basket and thats OK? I want a full refund and I will send them the junk backInitial Complaint

I ordered the product December 3. Payment Dec 4th, I paid in full. Delivery was supposed to be Dec 12. Someone must be home for delivery. I have tried their tracking system, which types my number in valid. I call everyday. No response by phone or email.Initial Complaint

Dear BBB, thank you for facilitating a hopeful resolution between Brocrates and myself. I ordered a gift for a friends 50th birthday and I was extremely disappointed with what was delivered. It was completely different from the photo, despite paying for an upgrade. When I raised the issue with this company, in hopes for a resolution, the companys response was to direct us to their policy, which states they reserve the right to substitute items of equal or greater value. However, my friend received a very low quality salt and pepper shaker, $2 bag of chips, and all other items with lesser valuehardly an appropriate replacement. After spending $200, we expected much better. As a business owner myself, I would never send something of such poor quality to clients. I reached out to this company twice to try and resolve this, to no avail. I am requesting a partial refund of at least 50% of what I paid, which equates to a minimum of $99.00. I placed an anniversary order on 9/30 for delivery on 10/4. On 10/3 *** reported the order was damaged but attempted to deliver on 10/7. After 10/8 there has been no scan. I sent multiple emails to "Juls" from BroCrates without any customer service whatsoever basically a "not our problem" response. On 10/17, I called *** and they said it would be being delivered and has been lost. I got a 3 way call on the line with them and BroCrates because BroCrates refused to call *** and vice versa. After speaking on the line with them, *** confirmed (to BroCrates), we were both given a case ID **************. *** stated the package would NOT be delivered and has been lost. BroCrates asked for an email to be sent to them, which was provided. After calling back, BroCrates stated they never got an email. I spoke with ******* who let me know he was a supervisor. ******* was very unprofessional and called the *** customer service **** "an F'ing joke, man." After staying on the line to be transferred to a *** investigation team, ******* **** up the phone before the *** worker could assist us further. I then again attempted to reach ******* back by way of 3-way call with *** immediately and was told he left for the day. This is without saying a word to both myself or *** while waiting. They are refusing to provide me a refund. So now, I am out money that I never got a package for and completely ruined an anniversary gift. I would like a refund.Initial Complaint

On 9/9/24 I ordered a product from a company I found online. I scheduled delivery to another party for 9/16/24. The product was delivered at a later date than promised as advertised on their website, and when the product arrived it was not at all what I had ordered and even paid an upgrade for. Multiple items in the product (gift basket) were substituted per the company due to low resources. I was not notified of these substitutions or that that was even an option. The products sent were lower quality and price than what I paid for. I have been in contact with the company and for days they have not offered any form of compensation for these wrong doings. After days of arguing with the company they finally offered me a 30% refund credit for one of the wrong items sent. This to me is unacceptable as I paid way more than what that would cover. Also, I have no desire to purchase from the company after this experience so a credit is not a good solution. I expect a full refund as I did not receive the product that I paid for and did not receive it on the right date. Also, when I told the customer service representative on the phone about my disappointment she hung up on me.Initial Complaint

I bought 3 boxes of 24 bottles of beer from Bro Crates to give as gifts to people. 2 boxes arrived. When in inquiried about the 3rd box I was told it got separated on transport. When it arrived a week later, I got glass in my fingers picking up the box. The box had been dropped and the glass had shattered, box was dried and replaced into an outer box and sent to me. Each box cost me $130 plus transport. When I contacted BroCrates they said they could only refund $11.50 for 1 broken bottle. I pointed out you cannot give this as a gift as the glass is shattered and dangerous, they said that they would still give this box as a gift. I opened the boxes which you normally would not do because they are gifts and found that each box was advertised as 24 bottles of beer but each box only had 5 bottles of beer the rest were cheap cans. They would not enter into any kind of idea of a discussion over what was advertised and what was sent out and also would not replace or refund the broken box enemies after I sent them a lot of pictures.
