Account#: ********* Compliant: Honda Financial Services is withholding the Title of my vehicle On Dec 24th, 2021 I paid off my leased car in the amount of $*********. The maturity date was December 28, 2021. As of yet, I have not received my TITLE to the vehicle. The customer service is poor, many times I have called there is a waiting period of 45 minutes to an hour at least. It has been over two months since I have paid off my car. I spoke with a person at Honda ************, her name was ******** about a month ago, she stated that they sent out a Title in the mail "but might have gotten lost". I asked her if it is lost, send out another one to which she replied "it will take at least 45 days". I asked her why they would send out a title without a tracking number to which she replied "its typical to send out title without a tracking number." I feel like honda is withholding the title of my vehicle when I have fully paid off the vehicle. This in my view is considered stolen property and fraud against me as a consumer. I am requesting Honda Financial Services to immediatley overnight the Title to my vehicle with a tracking number.

On June 1, 2020 we sold our 2019 Honda CRV to CarMax of Austin, TX. This vehicle was leased by us until the sale. In order to be able to sell the vehicle, we had to request an official End of Term Payoff amount. This amount was $*********. With this number, CarMax paid off the remainder of the lease (by paying that amount to Honda Financial Services), and as far as we were concerned, that deal was done. 7 months later, Honda is saying we still owe them a payment of $452.23 as an "End of Term Balance" that is evidently "past due". I understand if a payment had been missed, but that is not the case. In order to sell our vehicle to CarMax, Honda Financial Services provided us with the number ($*********) required in order to terminate our lease. This amount satisfied our lease, thus ending the lease term. I don't understand where an additional payment has popped up more than 6 months after we sold the vehicle. This seems like some sort of punishment for selling our vehicle to CarMax instead of turning the car back into Honda. We refuse to pay the "end of term balance" as this is their own miscalculation, and we had not missed any payments. Additionally, and more specifically why I am making a claim, is that they call me at least 3 times a day. Whenever I call back, I am always disconnected after entering my personal information. This seems like a scam--a scam to either somehow steal my information, or to scam us out of $452.23. I have made multiple attempts to contact Honda Financial Services, and have yet to speak with a human.

I leased the following car from Honda Financia Services, the lease was for 36 months. From day one, I auto paid the monthly balance per Honda contract. My histroy payment was 100% until the last day of the lease. After the end of the lease, I requested a year extention and Honda honored it. The first month payment was not deducted, and I never knew because they had the wrong address until I recieved an email about my payment was passed due. What appeared to be the issue because of the new contract the auto payment was removed from the account. I fixed and started the auto pay again, the account is current and there are no passed due balances. I have leased three cars from them without any issues or passed due amounts. Honda reported the one time late payment, not my mistake, to the credit bureau which had plunged my credit score unfairly. I tried to dispute it with the bureaus but my attempts were unsuccesful. Please help with this case. *************************************************************************************************

We purchased a 2010 Honda Pilot in Dec of 2009. We made payments on our vehicle for about 2yrs and paid this in full. We never did receive a title, which I was not aware of until we moved out of state and needed to transfer our vehicle to register it. The registration we get every year to pay for our tags does still have Honda Financial Services as the owner and, again, I never realized this was incorrect until informed when I went to get updated plates in our new state. I have tried for weeks to contact this business. The only way to reach them is by phone and your call is never answered. I don't have an account number any longer, because I paid the vehicle off. There is no other way to contact this company. I did call the dealer I bought the car from and they were less than helpful or knowledgeable about it. We paid over $****** for the car brand new in 2009. I don't know the exact date I paid this off, but I can find out if I need to.

At lease end on 2019 Acura RDX, I returned and released 2022 Acura MDX. Prior to leaving, I was told I could keep my tags, and they would payoff the RDX account (payoff includes all outstanding charges) and send me my registration. 5 months later Honda Financial reported delinquent payment. I checked the Acura website and saw the account for the 2019 RDX I traded in was still open and reflected nonpayment for "lease maturation" fee. I contacted the dealership, sales manager answered and It was for not returning the tags. I had to notify the DMV since it was my responsibility. I reminded the sales manager that the dealership filed paperwork for my registration with the tags and I was charged for tax and title. The financial Manager who had all the information refused to return my calls. Meanwhile, Honda Financial reported a second delinquent payment. No explanation was given why AcuraFinancial did not close the RDX account, as I was told, and why Honda Financial was sending negative reports to the credit bureaus. I checked the account to find someone to contact, and saw the charges paid and $0 due. I contacted the sales manager who asked me for picture proof of $0 balance. I sent him the picture and never heard from him again. Honda Financial reported a third delinquency. After many disputing letters, I was told it was for the property tax since I kept my tags. I explained that the balance due was $0. Again, no replies to my attempts. After my the lease on my other car matured, I returned to purchase it. I was notified that the 3 delinquency reports made me ineligible for Honda financing and was financed through a third party at 8.59% apr. All 36 prompt payments to Acura and 36 prompt payments to Honda were no longer listed in my credit report. Just the 3-4 delinquency reporting from Honda Financial. My credit score fell from 780 to 599. Honda and Acura Financial refuse to correct the damage to my credit. I am overwhelmed with this fraudulent practice.
