We tried to go through them to get our roof repaired after a hail storm. 2 out of the 3 scheduled times they didn't call and didn't show up. The one time she did show up, she told me I had to file a claim with insurance before they could help me. I did and now no one else wants to work with us and L&J has never called me back. Well, after L&J did our roof, our painter noticed some roofing tile missing from under an overhanging eve. I have called and called to have them come over and do what is probably a 20 minute job, there has been no call back.....at all. How is it that a company can continue to work like this and treat paying customers like this? If there's power in word of mouth, I hope it's working here. ***** BReview from Gary M

In 2021 we had estimates for roofing replacement on three houses from L&J. There were some issues when they met with insurance adjustor on one of the houses. We decided to go with another company recommended to us (better estimate, warranty, faster completion time, etc. in writing) Before the new company started, we listed the house for sale. Apparently, they (L&J) saw the sign and called our Realtor telling her he had inspected the house, it needed a new roof, and he was ready to do the work. He never called us. We felt that he was unethical in going around us. We had planned to give him another chance now on a different house, however, after reading complaints and reviews here combined with limited previous experience with L&J, we will use the company we used before out of ****************.Review from Arthur R

The owners came to my home on4-14-23 today is May 4th 20 days later still no quote on the job. I've left numerous messages and no reply. Best advice i can give don't waste your time even calling them for anything.Review from RONALD B

L&J did a remodeling job for us. It is now costing us about $10,000 to fix or replace almost everything they did. Mismatched paint, mismatched wall texture, corner beads not blended into walls, totally botched stucco job, wrong leveler used for shower pan, hot/cold water lines installed backwards in shower, three sinks epoxied to countertops, botched countertops, phone calls not returned, constant no-call no-shows, epoxy on new tile floors, epoxy on carpet, epoxy on cabinets, adhesive on sidewalk, garden door installed out of plumb, texture overspray not cleaned up, worker broke a light fixture which I had to pay for, shower doors were hung crooked. We had to do the cleanup every day when they left. I did some of the work myself because of their no-shows. I had to drive one of their workers to the hardware store (because he was out of gas) to get the parts needed to fix the backward shower lines plus I had to buy the parts. The owner and salesman were shown these problems and no offer was made to fix anything. As far as skill, character, and integrity I wouldn't hire these guys again to build a dog house for half price!
