business came to my home spent two hours I finally asked them to leave because I felt pressured to sign a contract. I am now being contacted by phone and email to set up another appointment with them. I tried to contact their business at a Denver address and phone number and they hung up on me. I have repeatedly asked them on the phone and text message to Stop contacting and harassing me. As of 11/18 they are still harassing me.Business response

I signed a contract ******. They came October and halway ripped apart my house, and still it sits. I have CALLED the financing company, the 'manager' in charge to take over my case suppodesly, ************************* came to my house to see the reckage in February 2024. It is now May, I was PROMISED delivery of the contract, commiunication per the contract - I have left hundrerds of messages, called the finance company several times. These people not only left THREE bathrooms in shreds one way or another not working ----- I have discovered SEVERAL moved drain lines without permit, etc.... I am honestly not even SURE all these people did wrong and they will NOT call me back.. I see now ALL the complaints on HERE!!! Seems they do this to a lot of people- But this is a large deal and 9 Months after signing a contract with HomePride and my entire level is unusable and not able to be rented.... And they do NOT EVEN HAVE THE HALF way respect to call back - have ALSO left several message for 'the boss and CEO *******************************...These people have PREDIDOTRY advertising going on - and that needs to stop too!How can you come in, rip up a house and leave for over 8 months????? TO bad I did NOT look at ALL the other people on here this EXACT same thing is happening too! I use to General Contract - and this company is NOT UPHOLDING even local law per contract. We have a scheduled a call to address open issues with the client. There was a call on Friday 5/10/24 and a meeting was scheduled for Monday 5/13/24 to go over all the open issues. We will update the BBB as soon as this meeting happens.

I finally received a call from this company after not being contacted at since February, after filing this complaint on 5.06.2024. I was unable to answer, I sent an email and scheduled a call with then I emailed when I could not answer to schedule a call- which we did for 5.08. I was unable to get through that time too and was not called back that day- but the next. And rescheduled again through email and did finally speak with someone on 5.09.2024. They have not given me a proposed resolution yet, they are suppose to call me back by 5.14.2024, but we are not where close to this resolved. Please do not close this!Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:BBB wants to close this complaint and I will keep it open until full resoluation and gain awareness about this no matter what.
Despite we 'have a call scheduled' it still took 3 more MONTHS of trying to call and email and filing this to get any response from this company and these 3 bathrooms left in shreds in October of 2023....
I was not called the day I was emailed, "I am available any of these times call me whenever." And I called, and I sat in a parking lot and wasted more time and did not get a call back until the I scheduled again.
It is just the same story and I DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING these people say until it is on paper and signed and done! I will file another BBB complaint, I am speaking with ****** and I have held off actual legal action and do have attorney's fees plus damage to home, loss of use rental use - on top of just basic
"A Permit is required to Move Drain Lines."
I know of at LEAST 2 they moved, have not moved insualation to look at all damage, and I offered them to just leave with refund - which in my mind is pretty genrous. Loss of rental use exceeds there contract and I do not even include anything else in this figure.
I do not parade you with texts, emails, pictures etc. as I will send you 989 things right now - but I have it and will send if needed.
I DO NOT BELIEVE - based on all and current history - a word this company says until I see it on official contact...
This complaint is FAR from closed - I barley got them to answer about TRYING to resolve this despite a contract sign almost 10 months ago, and then coming here and never coming back to finish since October 2023...

In FACT I was told owner ************************* is too busy (and to this day have NOT HEARD one emai or word from this owner EVER and have left multiple message and email) and that they 'hoped to get back to me' by TUESDAY MAY 15th!!
We have NOTHING scheduled for Monday - had she been able to schedule with me when we talked on Friday May 10th we would, but THEY choose to talk to the boss and 'promise' to get back with me by Tuesday.
The theme of this company, many many promises never fulfilled an I have serious doubts I will not have to try and track the down again next week.
I absoltuely reject this repsonse and it is a LIE!!! We have NO CALL scheduled May 13th, 2024! I am still 'waiting' for this **** person to have time for this $50K project...

Number 2, I am not booked on Monday when these people are in office - I work too and they DID NOT SCHEDULE A CALL WITH ME YET TO RESOLVE!!!!
More lies.... How sad, these poeple can go and do this to anyone!!!!!!!! Look at ALL the EXACT same complaints - I will file a law suit if needed but most people cannot - total insanity these people are allowed to operate like this!!!!!

After scheduling issues etc., today May 17th I FINALLY got a call from the project manager (who has had this in her lap at LEAST since FEBRUARY 2023) And so on Memorial Day, May 27th the 'boss' *************************, who has been COPIED ON EMAILS since DEC 2023 is going to ***** my home with this presence finally so we can 'come up with a solution.'
This is the SAME we pretty much take your deposit and put you LAST on the list and if this guy cared, why has he not EVER called or reached out to me in 10 months? AND why is the head project manager taking ALL week to schedule for him, in basically another 2 weeks to try and 'figure it out' here.
They have ALL info, pictures etc. and one has been here once on February- I still feel like this is a complete waste of time and EVERY day that goes by is lost income for me!
FAR from over, sending someone who should have been here 6 months ago (and still cannot call me himself??????) and is IN CHARGE...
We are far from ANY resoltuions at all..... Happy to bomb you with contracts, pictures of the wreckage and just not even up to basic code work etc..... But lots of work for you- and remains public to this company that I do not even know why I care about at all, as they have not cared about me, their contract or doing halfway business.
I honestly feel like this is a halfway joke that I have to tile this to FINALLY get this boss up here, who KNOWS!!! And his right hand person came over 3 months ago. This is just how these people treat their customers..... Awful...

I am rejecting this response because:Owner did visit home and provided a reasonable resolution - we are waiting on material and then a lot of this will have to be redone, Owner says he will see personaly it gets done correctly.
Target date for this to happen is end of July which is the only reason I am rejecting the response to keep it open.
There is a reasonable solution offered by HomePride, but it has not been done yet due to waiting for material and I want to make sure it is complete.
I will email the rep and see if it is better to keep this open through completion or open another case if things do not work out, but it seems to me I would rather keep this in one place and close this out when things are 100% complete and resolved in a month or so.

As SOON as you guys closed it, I started asking to confirm this would all be fixed before end of July per the reslution and all communication to date on it.-
Now since last Friday and I am getting a bit of a run around again and being told that things are going to be ANOTHER MONTH longer, this will be one year since I signed this contract! They say it is over a shower pan they ordered- but they have been aware of this issue since last October and there is a huge chip and dent and they think they can 'repair' it. I have never been happy with that-
But regadless after **** visited my home, the timeline even for worst case scenario was suppose to be end of July, now I am hearing August-
This changes everything I agreed too, and it is my fear they are not going to do this until Christmas, if it all without you or a lawyer involved.
Please reopen this case as they indicated yesterday- as the agreed upon solution is now not what it was and the time frame is still nothing solid they can even give me, but are saying August 5th until they even have all parts??Business response

I am rejecting this response because:The original resolution included this project being completed by the end of July-
On June 22nd it was confirmed last part of July was still on target-
On July 8th I follow after not receiving any news, and here that there is a possible delay on one part.
On July 10th got an 'update' that ****** hoped to ship this part by end of the week- but not for sure.
July 23rd text was sent for an update, no response.
July 30th second text sent- and was finally told no part had shipped and we still had no solid date on when this was arriving.
August or possibly September arrival cannot even be promised at this point, there is not date in site for completion and fullfilment also requires secondary work of a custom contractor that will have to be waited for.
I was in communication with owner last week about modifying the agree upon resolution, as that has now come and gone - and we are literally at one year since I first met with their sales people, we are approaching one year since the contract was signed.
Owner is in communication, but there has not been any agreeance on a resolution, and the orignal resolution that was agreed upon was not able to be delievered- they have still yet to touch anything construction wise here since October, 2023-
I am hoping that we reach as swift resolution, as every single day that goes by is costing not this company, but me.
The ball has been in their court since last week, and I have not received firm response agreeing on resolving the failure to resolve.

I paid Home P ride to remodel my bath, the forgot to connect the drain , resulting in severe water damage to my home, they also severely damaged the non remodeled area's of my bathroom during the install by failing to use any precautionary practices. They admitted fault, and then turned it over to their insurance company who sent me an estimate for about 1/4 of the actual cost of repairs so I told them to forget it, The contract states that we must use BBB arbitration first so I am filing this complaint.Business response

On January 11th we installed a new shower for **************. In the morning of January 12th, we were notified that the shower leaked from the drain. ************** stated that it was not his only shower and was not an emergency and he would use the other shower until we could get back out there. On January 19th, we went back out to ****************** home to fix the drain and to address some other concerns with this shower. The drain was fixed on the 19th. The homeowner recognized there was some water damage to the ceiling in his kitchen and two cracked tiles in the bathroom from the removal of the old tub during install. We could not come to a resolution with the ************** on fixing the issues so we filed a claim with our insurance company to bring the situation to a close on 2/16/24. **************** assigned an adjuster to the claim and contacted ************** on 2/19/24. The home was inspected on 2/22/24. A preliminary estimate was given to ************** on 2/23/24. ********************* and ************** are working through the estimate of work currently.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: ************* provided by the contractor does not cover the improper install of the shower, only the resulting damage. The shower must be removed and replaced. The contractor is in breach of contract for stating to the insurance company that they will not come out and fix the issues. I was forced to hire another company that will remove the shower, find the leak and replace the shower components that will need to be replaced from the removal and repair process. Because the new shower will not be warranted by the home-pride and they failed to honor the contracted job they performed and have been paid in full for, I am forced to file a complaint. If the customer issues a full refund I will drop this complaint I will release them from warranty obligations and breach of contract.

Thank you ******* for helping me with this regrettable tub install by Home Pride Bath and ****** Systems. ***** at ****************** told me verbally that Home Pride had provided a Job Completion form. I ask Home Pride for that Paperwork (Mollly) and followed up asking Sunlight for a copy of that Completion form..so far no form has been given to me. . My remodel contractor *************************** told me to get a copy of the completion form Home Pride supposedly gave to Sunlight.. Why? Because I never signed one. Home Pride's attitude " We agreed to install a walk in tub, We did. We are done" . The conversation got very heated. Getting no where with the young women answering the phone. I was fi8nally turned over to a VP? of **************** named Al;. He was easier to talk to but the conversations still got heated. The 34" by 65" 2" deep suppressed hole in the floor (safety problem) Al agreed to allow me to have Mr ***-it at least make the area level with; the rest of the bathroom. Al sent $600 to me to pay Mr. ****it. make the hole level which included a small deposit to Stroke of Genius *******, to attempt a successful faux patch ...she backed out,had too many bigger jobs and never planned to do custom finish plaster before Old World Faux glaze. Orignal materials no longer available at Guirey's so redo of entire wall might be necessary 8if patch couldn't be made acceptable.looking.
I am 84 years old and feel that this senior citizen was treated dishonestly....hoping I would just go away I am a widowed Senior citizen on a very limited fixed budget, so signing up for a $24,000 Kohler Walk-in tub was a big deal to me. If I had it to do over, knowing the grief I was to experience I would never have agreed to it. You don't spend that ki9nd of money that results in a incomplete job that responsibility to fi8nish is absent. On the email attachments I sent to you *******, I did include a LONG VERSiON of a Settlement Letter I wrote, followed by a less wordy SHORT VERSIOn SETTLEMENT Letter. I looked online to see what others were saying about Home Pride and discovered they had only one star. Based on my experience that did not surporise me. We are sorry Mrs. *** feels we are not helping her with this situation. Below is our understanding of how this was left with her. I am happy to discuss this with her as the ** of Sales is not with the company anymore.
After the removal of the corner bathtub for the installation of the walk-in bath, there was exposed sub-floor and a hole in the wall. The old bathtub was much larger than the new tub. HomePride installed new drywall to cover the hole left in the wall. There was no flooring to be installed per the contract. After discussions with the ** of sales, HomePride agreed to send a check to Ms. *** for $608. This refund was to fix the sub floor being lower than the other flooring in the bathroom and to have the drywall textured. HomePride also agreed to help with the cost of the carpet to be patched.
In January of ****, Ms. *** refused to have HomePride assist further with the carpet.
There was never a completion form submitted to ****************** as that is not a requirement from Sunlight.If there is more to the story from Mrs. **** point of view I am happy to discuss this. I would like to point out that we have hundreds of 5 star reviews and we strive to create a gracious experience for every customer. Unfortunately there seems to be something lost in translation here as we thought this was resolved.

Home Pride's Own installer (******, *****) advised me after successfully installing the walk in tub to wait until the rest of the job was completed before signing the completion form. "There is more to do here" he told me. That is where the rub is. It has been like pulling teeth to get them to agree to completing anything...to even raise the uneven floor to the level of the rest of the bathroom, forget the hole in the wall or matching the plaster or old world finish patch. .
What senior citizen in their right mind , on a limited fixed income would agree to pay $24,000 for a quality walk in tub from a supposedly top quality installer and be left with holes in the floor and wall I believed that ****** would only use "customer satisfied" installers., certainly not an outfit that leaves a senior citizen with an incomplete job....and.... puts up considerable resistance to completing that job. My gripe is not with ******************, they were unfortunately caught in the middle believing Home Pride had a satisfactory install with a happy customer., but that was not the case.
Today I sent a settlement check to ****************** as described on the short version Settlement letter . The tracking number is 9400111206210998505355. I will be hiring ******************************* a remodeling contractor to complete the floor in finished material as well as patch in a skip trowel plaster finish on the drywalled in hole. Hopefully the patch can be successfully merged with the rest of the wall. The Custom Old world finish needs to acceptably merge with the rest of the wall. Since the original materials for the custom faux glazing are no longer carried at Guirey's, a substitute tinted glazing material will need to be used. Hopefully, the patch can be made to look acceptable and blended in to the larger wall, if not, the only alternative is to redo that entire section wall of the bathroom area .
This was the determination of the Guirey recommended faux expert ...******* of Stroke of Genius, she was the other contractor who backed out of tackling the project. Remodeling contractor ******************************* has reviewed what needs to be completed and is willing to take on this job completion project. I can trust ********'s remodeling company to complete the job in a satisfactory manner.

I have a very thorough document that contains far more details but the character limit prohibits me from including it in this field. I can provide it, if required.I'm compelled to share my disappointing experience with the recent, November 4th and 5th, installation of a standard 60 x 30 shower/tub alcove by Home Pride, a representative of Kohler products.The project involved substantial financing, and while communication about material acquisition and scheduling was acceptable, the actual installation was far from satisfactory. The appointed installer, ****, displayed unprofessionalism and minimal communication, leaving me with numerous issues and concerns.After completion the installed materials appear new and shiny but, upon closer inspection, deficiencies were glaring. Sloppy patching of unnecessary drywall removal, haphazard caulking, and gaps in flooring due to inaccuracy of installation were just a few of the issues that fell short of the promised perfection. Critical fixture problems, such as a malfunctioning tub faucet and a poorly functioning shower head, surfaced post-installation.Efforts to address these concerns with the project manager, ********, were met with silence, eroding my confidence in Home Pride's commitment to customer satisfaction. Even the return of the original installer failed to resolve all issues, leaving me feeling dismissed and disrespected.The lack of professionalism extended to neglecting to communicate with me about a broken drain prior to installation, leaving me uncertain about the installation's integrity. Despite multiple attempts to seek clarification and resolution, my concerns were met with silence.In summary, the installation experience provided by Home Pride was far from what was promised. The lack of professionalism, communication, and customer service, combined with the significant financial investment, leaves me with no option but to request a comprehensive resolution.Business response

I am disputing the charges for the remodeling job in my bathroom. I was quoted a little over ******* to do the job. On the day I called in to pay, in full, I was told I owed over ********. My bathroom remodel was hardly worth the **** I was being charged. Upon contacting the company, I was told the manager lyssa was in a meeting and would call back. A day and a half later my son in law had to call the company for a response. They sent a "contract" to my daughter, but I never saw this. I was handed a phone at the end of the job and told to sign. I feel they added the amount in after I signed.... if I was aware they were going to scam me for over ******** I would have never let them in my home. The shower is not measured right, a permit was never pulled, the piping is not up to code and illegally piped.. they were supposed to remove my old tub, but said they would hurt their backs but if I paid them some money they would remove it. My disabled son and I moved it out of the house! The wood around the floor is still rotted out. The shower is not what they advertise in pictures. I will not pay this outrageous amount! Show me a shower that is worth ********, because that is not what I got! This company is a scam and they are taking advantage of me!Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I never had a paper contract. Where is the original contract? Far as I know They added all this info in after the fact. I was given a higher amount than the $8498.50, but I said the amount was too much. They said I would get a senior citizen discount and a military discount and that brought it down to the $8498.50. I have attached the card I was given after the job was done that states I only owe $8498.50 and that the job was complete. I will not pay more than this and I have sent a certified letter to them stating as such! This is elder abuse, I am almost 77 years old and I was not given a chance to read a paper contract, I was told to sign a phone that I cant even read.

Attached is the contract signed and dated November 14th, 2022. On this contract, the total amount is $16,997. The deposit of $8,498.50 was financed through ****************** on November 22nd, 2022. The remaining balance of $8,498.50 was financed through ****************** on January 9th, 2023. Those two amounts equal the total contract amount of $16,997. The attachments in the response did not include a card stating the total contract amount being $8,498.50.
We would be happy to mail a printed version of the contract to **************************. The digital version of the contract was emailed to the email address given to HomePride which is ****************************.

I am rejecting this response because:Still not understanding where you are going with this. AGAIN. you had me sign a cell phone, it was never read, I was told to sign and I did. I do not get into my emails. A paper contract should have provided from the get go. You all know you added that amount in after the fact! Let me ask this. You say initially there was a deposit of $8497.50, or it was "financed"... I might be wrong here, but aren't deposits supposed to be paid before a job begins? Isn't that why they are called a deposit? That being said, you say Sunlight financial...who us that? I have All in **************** sending me bills. Also it says the deposit was $5.00. I never even paid you the five dollars....Where did five dollars come from? And you claim that the whole amount on the contract was for $16997.00 for, your contract date of 11/14/22. Every statement I have received, every notice I have received from November on until February says amount due $8498.50.....
And as to the attachment I sent from last time...That was give to me when the job was done, I did not miraculously come up with something from your company with your name on it. And THIS is the only thing I see with ****************** on it.

****************** is the financial institution your loan for your project was approved through. ****************** has the option to house the loan or to sell it to a third party. All *************** is a third party financial institution that owns the loan and manages it. The payments are to be paid to All ***************.
I am unsure on the $5 deposit showing on the statement from All ***************. That question would need to be directed to All ***************.

Home Pride, aka/dba Kohler Home Pride ************** and *************, began calling my personal cellphone on August 16, 2022. Despite kindly requesting that the company and individuals calling, to remove me from their calling list, outright telling them to stop calling, and subsequently blocking numerous phone numbers associated with the company's name, the company continues to call my phone, no less than three times per day, seven days per week. I submitted a request for a consultation with HomePride I honestly don't know when; at least six months ago, so I forgot all about it. They called me six months later and the woman was unintelligible on the phone. We eventually set up an appointment for a consultation, but I had to cancel it because I got sick. Since then, which was a couple of months ago, HomePride has been calling me multiple times a DAY, according to my phone caller ID, and the couple of times I have been home to answer the phone, they hang up on me. This is harassment and it must STOP. I have no interest in doing business with a company who first never gets back to me, then pranks me for months and months.Business response

Company forged a contract. i made it clear unless the entire amount is financed that i wanted to not use them the same day i spoke to them. Now TJ is saying i have a contract but he can't get financing; There is no such contract. They need to cancel anything they have in system for me and never contact me again.Business response

To Whom it may concern: Unfortunately HomePride was not given the opportunity to resolve this issue before a complaint was filed. We have been in contact with ********************** on 5/13/2022 and informed her that we were sorry for her experience with our representative. Unfortunately ********************** did not qualify at the time for the requested dollar amount for the project that she had contracted for. We have since assured her that we have canceled the contract with no obligation on her part. In an effort to make sure this is clear we have sent a letter stating her contract is canceled on company letter head. I am hopeful ********************** will consider this a satisfactory resolution.
