Bad customer service when ordering checks. I spoke to them over the phone and ordered checks. I had a large deposit come in and needed to write checks out of the account. When I ordered them they didn't tell me the money was deposited in another account. They had my phone number email and address. They waited to tell me until after they had billed me $30.Business response

On May 28, 2024 I sold my home. With part of the money I called ENT that day and asked for pay off quotes to two auto loans and a personal loan for a collective amount of $43,297.41. I checked today (May 30) and saw I still owed $19.74 collectively on the three accounts. Today I called an explained that money should have zeroed all acounts because I spefically called less than two days ago to settle these accounts. I was told by the representative I still would have to pay the amount of interest that accrued during the last 36 hours. I said I would not pay the amount because I called and was told what I had to pay to the *****. I plan to close my account at ENT (account # ******* after ** years of doing business with them because this is unethical. I paid off a 2019 ****** Murano in the amount of $20,590.39 a 2019 ****** Sentra for $13,367.67 and another personal loan for $9,339.35.Business response

I am writing this review as a warning to not use ENT Credit Union for your auto financing needs. I was involved in a vehicle accident this past October 2023. At the time I made my lien holder, ENT Credit Union aware. I was then referred over to their third-party insurance provider, Allied Solutions. Originally, after an adjuster had viewed my vehicle, I was told they are able to fix it and to choose a shop to have the work done. I then brought my vehicle to a body shop who ordered the parts to fix my vehicle, tore it apart as instructed by Allied Solutions, and submitted the pictures they requested. After all of this, Allied Solutions decided the vehicle was a total loss. This is when my situation became very frustrating. The body shop already has cost into labor, and now has parts they must return which results in a restocking fee, as well as storage fees. Both ENT and Allied Solutions have been refusing to pay those fees despite it being them that told us to initiate this process. Additionally, when I financed my vehicle with ENT I purchased *** coverage. My understanding has always been that *** is to cover the difference between what the insurance pays for the total loss and what is the remainder of your current auto loan. *** has argued with me and told me that is not the case and had the *** insurance only pay me around $600 leaving me with a balance of nearly $10,000 still on the loan. When I have inquired on why only $600 was paid I am told Allied Solutions does not pay for salvage. However, my vehicle has never had a salvage title and is only now a total loss because they are the ones who have decided it is. I feel I am being raked over and have become very frustrated with no answers. Whenever myself or the body shop calls ENT to get answers we are referred to Allied Solutions. Whenever we call Allied Solutions, we are referred to ENT.Business response

I created an appointment to speak to a business advisor at ENT. When I showed up, no one was really available and I was not going to discuss my private things in front of a long line staring at me, with a teller. This bank is for college kids at best, not professionals or businesses that require any degree of privacy if this is how you manage first ***************** for new business banking customers and ask questions about my finances in front of other people. So given the bank failed to hold a basic appointment and no advisors were available, forcing me to try to handle my items publically in front of a teller, I simply decided this is not the right bank for any business customer and left. I have been recieving spam and mail from the bank. This is UNAUTHORIZED and UNWARRANTED. I never provided DIRECT and EXPLICIT Approval to be a part to this. ENT has failed its legal duty here to not only avoid this without consent, they did not provide a simple and clear way to request it to be stopped on the **** it keeps sending me, which is a further violation. Either way, ENT - you are welcome to address your legal team. Consider this a formal request I am putting through BBB that ENT should purge all of my data (which is literally just junk marketing I did not authorize in their database - there is no "real" customer information that was ever "consented" to for this bank...). You are legally required to act given the circumstances and per my request and I am requesting BBB to be the primary intermediary so this is documented by an independent 3rd party.Contacting me outside of BBB is not authorized or permitted, No consent was ever provided or will be provided to contact me outside of BBB. All formal communication must be published here for BBB to independently *****. Any references to these attempts are a disregard to respect my request and a clear avoidance of BBB's expectations for transparency - so do not bother trying, I will only reply to you here.Business response

You have too many IFs. You are refusing compliance if you do not provide definitive confirming statements. You are illegally contacting me and I do not wish you to do so. This is now a second formal request requesting you to honor my first message on BBB fully. There should be no IFs. You have logs to check your data and print histories to see what you mailed me. Please reference the attached proof picture, provided by **** of the mail that ENT has been sending me. This is unwarranted, unapproved, and unwanted solicitations.
ENT needs to address this specific situation and provide evidence or a certain statement from their end that they have addressed it. "Generic" replies to address an issue is not acceptable because it shows no real attempt to address the issue other than tell someone else in the company and "assume" they will do it. They should take the proper steps to make sure it was completed and verify in writing the correct job of deleting all of my information was completed because improperly mailing me over and over like this is unacceptable.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: ENT has not been honest or accurate. The unwanted communication still comes with additional names of other family members now, after my name, for some reason. People who have never provided any information to ENT. That is why I am rejecting the businesses, response, and requesting for this to be reopened. My concerns is that ENTs has not ethically committed to or complete the past request which was required to close this complaint so this complaint is being requested to be reopened. I am concerned that it is now very evident and very public that ENT cannot be trusted, and must provide evidence this time due to my concern that it has properly addressed the issue. Words will not suffice because it is now evident that ENT is not doing as it claims.ENT must scrub anything related to anyone in my household, because I was the only one to ever provide my own information to ENT only. ENT must take it down to the address, level, any other parameters to mine all of their databases to scrub all of this information. ENT must provide detailed proof of all of the different searches and evidence of items that they erased in order to prove that action was taken other than using generic words. ENT already has enough of my information to look at this from multiple parameters and provide the requested evidence after completing the task they had claimed to previously completed, but obviously have not.I am attaching another piece of evidence for BBB staff to review, again. The above represents my statement. I have also provided ample evidence to back up my statement, and why my ask is evidence is fair given the history, fully documented publicly on BBB. This could be as simple as confirming the information deleted simply, which is also in the picture I am providing, and if the business cannot do something as simple as that, I think we all have to seriously consider if its doing anything at all or just trying to close the complaint to keep its metrics pretty for the BBB.
Sincerely,

On February 15, 2024, I had reached out to Ent Credit Union in an effort to obtain payment relief on my active loans. In relation to my mortgage loan, on February 23, 2024, I was advised by an Ent Credit Union staff member of the following and I quote; "There is a six-month option for a deferment, it is just offered in three months increments." After ~5 attempts to move forward with the deferment option that was presented to me, it was advised that it was not in fact available and that I was misled. Being a former employee and having direct knowledge into the details of the department, deferments on mortgage loans have in fact been processed in the past and I feel as if I am being treated unfairly. I attempted to resolve this matter amicably by asking for the deferment option that was presented to me on February 23, 2024, however, Ent Credit Union declined to uphold their word.Business response

On March 1st 2024 I initiated a request for a bill deferment on an auto loan. The specific issues I'm going through at the moment are unexpected repair bills on the vehicle the loan is on, and I had my credit card info stolen and they drained that card. I need my truck for work so I had to repair it immediately and not on my own terms, and the credit card that was drained is a fuel only card that I use specifically for business. In my current situation I've been forced to choose between continuing to make money of which I will be continuing to pay the loan, or pay to keep the truck and not be able to work fully until some invoices settle. Last year I reached out for a deferment. I just bought a house and things were tight. I asked for a 1 month deferment and right then and there I was offered a two month deferment. I'm in this loan for 72 months so I just took it not thinking of anything. now I need some help again and I'm being told I cannot get a deferment not because I simply had one already, but they're saying its because I had two deferments already. The problem is It was one deferment of two months. One time I needed a break for 30 days. The *** offered me two months when I didn't ask for it and did not tell me taking an extra month would impact me in the future. If I knew that I wouldn't have opted for it. I recognize all of this is from being behind on a loan I agreed to, but there are policies and protocols in place to make sure purchasers have chances to keep their vehicles, AND to mitigate the lienholders expense and potential loss of money from repossessing a vehicle. The advantages I've been provided as a customer were wrongfully taken from me, as well as a level of protection to the lienholder. I have made payment this time. But I will be handicapped in making more money until some invoices settle. This is going to trickle to the next time payment is due. The resolution I'm asking for is a deferment on that payment so I can get myself right.Business response
