Both of our Construction Managers along with our electrician have been to this house multiple times. Upon visiting the home it was observed that there are several high usage devices, including space heaters, being plugged in and used at the same time. Our team has explain the nuances of an arc fault circuit and its protective limitations. On Thursday, the electricians went to the residence and tested the breakers again. They all appear to be working as designed, and again observed many plugged in items to the circuit contrary to the previous discussions. As a courtesy, the electricians put brand new breakers in, again. If the there's an overload of usage the problem will continue to persist. The issue can be easily resolved by not overloading the circuit.

I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
****** ******A space heater and a curling iron should not be overloading the circuit when that is the only thing running to the breaker. Also if theres only a tv on and no space heater was on, then that shouldnt overload the circuit when a vacuum is turned on. Also, the circuit was overloaded, then it would trip the breaker as soon as it is turned on. Not 10 minutes or more after the vacuum is being used. Also the same goes for the master bathroom, the curling iron was in use for over 30 minutes before the breaker tripped. So why isnt it tripping when things are being turned on immediately and not after being on for over an half hour. Not even the electrician could explain that. So no I dont agree or accept this response

In February 16 2024, we came in contact with a sales consultant ***** ****** with Century communities for a home purchase certain aspects of the transaction may not have been fully disclosed or were misrepresented, leading to a misunderstanding with the loan processor they were working with Inspire Home Loan. On numerous occasions, there was misleading information from the Century homes to the home loan processor to the home buyer it is very unfortunate that they misled us to believe that we had been approved for the home loan so we went forward with depositing our ******* money Feb 27 2024 $1905 + 95 filing fee. I am concerned that I was not provided with complete and accurate information, which affected my decision-making and they are misleading individuals to believe they are approved and keeping the ******* money knowing we were not approved. I would appreciate an opportunity to discuss this matter further to address these discrepancies and work toward a resolution get a refund because this felt like a scam.Other company in question ****************************************************************************** ************ NMLS # *******, NMLS Consumer Access: **************************Business response

Century Complete has reviewed the complaint alleged by ****** ****************. Our records indicate that **** **************** went under contract with a co buyer , ****** ********, on February 24,2024. As per section 2aii of our contract signed on February 24, 2024,the deposit money would become non refundable upon acceptable verification of the purchasing buyers ability to obtain a loan. The customer provided evidence of this to the lender and received approval on February 26,2024. It was later discovered that the loan was not approvable based on additional items found in underwriting that had not been disclosed by the buyer prior to loan approval. This information was obtained in April of 2024 after the deposit period of the contract had expired.
Our contract with **** **************** states that in the event a loan is declined the purchaser will seek other means of approval from alternate lender. **** ********* ******* failed to apply to any other lenders as requested by Century Complete. Century Complete offered the customer the opportunity to come back and purchase within six months and use the deposit money on any future Century Complete Homes. This offer was made above and beyond our contractual requirement to the customer.
We are asking the ******************** to dismiss this complaint. Our contract clearly stated the deposit was nonrefundable. The loan denial was in no fault of the lender, or Century Complete, rather an issue with improper disclosures by the purchaser. A copy of the contract is attached for your records.Thank you,

Complaint: 22535553
I am rejecting this response because:I feel that I was pressured by the builder and the lender to submit the ******* money. The builder mentioned I was in contract which is true because of the pressure the builders agent stated the house would be sold if I did not put the deposit ,as a buyer with no agent I trusted the builders representative that I was working with at that time. It is unfortunate that they broke my trust, and that was the reason we did not go forward with another lender. I did not fail to go with another lender, I no longer had trust or confidence that the process would change and I did not want to lose out on any more money.
After doing my research on this builder and the lender I learned there were multiple complaints with the same issue, it is very unfortunate that this corporations get away with this type of deception to the buyer/customer.

I bought *************************************************, on 22 March 2024 from Century Communities (New build). The home flooded on 25 March 2024 due to debris and paint being in the drain. This has been an ongoing issue from then until the present. My wife and I have had to miss approximately 40 hours of work to be home to set up a rework crew and be home for the rework crew to come and fix the initial repairs. They have been attempting to clean out the pipes for months now and still have yet to get footage of the pipes being completely clear. The plumbing company has come out many times, I want to say 7 now, and the last few times, I was told that the footage of my pipes was deleted or disappeared. On 24 June 2024, the homebuilder reached out and said that my pipes were sagging due to not enough soil under the pipes or something along the lines of that, and now they have to tear up part of my driveway, walkway, and entire front yard. All I asked from the home builder was to not patch anything and redo the entire driveway and pathway, so it isn't patchy. They refused to do this. In my eyes the home builder is not repairing back to how the house was sold to be. I have proof of them sending me footage multiple times of the pipes being not clear, them saying pipes are clear when they are not, and now this. I'm tired of dealing with this home builder. They came and fixed the sagging pipes issue, and right after that, they found a clog in the pipes again. They cleared that, and I have yet to get clear footage of my pipes. Also, when my driveway was put back, there was a huge chip in it, which I specifically said I did not want. I have had issues with the home since I bought the home back in March and I feel this is unacceptable service. Please contact me by email because I am currently out of the country. Thank you!Business response

Complaint: 21962576I am rejecting this response because:
Hello, in the picture that I previously attached, you can clearly see a piece of glue that strings across what appears to be about 1/8th of the diameter of the pipe. If toilet paper gets caught on this it will cause a back up. I have been dealing with plumbing issues since I bought the house in March. I cannot afford the time to have another back up in the future. Can we please do some preventative maintenance to avoid a future issue and just get this strand of glue jetted out of the pipe so there is no chance for a back up? I do not think this is too much to ask.
Secondly, does my warranty reset after the change of the piping and if so when does the new warranty expire?
Please and thank you,

Poor landscaping/drainage: We submitted a warranty request to fix the grading/drainage issue in our front yard back in September 2023. The job was not started till late May of 2024. They claimed that the pipes were on "backorder" which we do not believe because of the pipe that they installed shouldn't be on back order for 6-8 months. However, we are not satisfied with the job. Prior to the job, our driveway where the pipe was installed incorrectly/poorly caused our driveway to crack. We submitted the warranty; however, we were told that the driveway was cracked from driving over it. If it was installed properly, the driveway would have less potential for cracking. The job included extending the pipes 4 feet on each side, but that didn't address the overall issue. There is still standing water within the ditch. In addition, they provided us with dying sod on May 30/31st. It was addressed to the Area Construction Manager (*******************) on June 3rd and he said "I'm glad everyone is watering it, there and where we seeded also. Early Morning and Late evening is the best time. Unfortunately getting the grass to grow isn't warrantable but it sounds like ya'll are on top it". We have been watering it since May 31st and rained on June 2nd and by June 3rd it was already dead. We have been watering it since then and 10 days later it still hasn't revived. When we first moved into the house in Mid August 2023 the whole yard had sod. We were told to water it for 2 weeks, but we were only able to water a week since I had to go to the hospital for a month, the sod survived then. So why is it not surviving now? The majority of my neighbor has dead sod installed after the job they did that was "completed" May 31, 2024. We also had another drainage issue in the front yard that we addressed however, they told us it was fixed, but they had only stacked 2 sections of sod on top of each other. This caused a speed bump-type situation for our lawn mower.Business response

Sod was laid on 5/31 was also delivered fresh from the farm the morning of 5/31 and laid that day. We do not provide sprinklers on warranty work on closed homes. Century instructed everyone in the neighborhood the correct method of watering their sod. warrantable item. As for the yard, there was a low spot holding water and we regraded it and installed new sod, It was expressed that it may still hold water and it was explained that if it did, we would come back as that is a warrantable item. Same for the ditch, As of today, we've not received a warranty ticket.

I am rejecting this response because:Well then you were ******* with the quality of the sod you received from the farm which caused us the frustration. We have to look at this daily, you do not. This doesn't seem like the "quality" of homes that your company represents.
There was no re-grading done in the ditches, our front yard & side yard. Driveway pipes were extended, and dirt were laid on top of the pipes. Sod was laid down in the ditches and in our front yard. This is not grading. This is putting band aid on a gash. Yes, ***** did mention that they would come back if water still stood; however, they had only laid sod down and called it re-grading. As far as side yard, I had talked to ***** in person requesting to lessen the slope of side of the house near the ** unit as it is causing erosion issues instead of re-grading work down, they had put straw & seed on the hill. I hope you understand the frustration we are going through waiting for months to get this done in addition to having to go back & forth on this when it should have been done correctly from the beginning or the second time around. We don't want to continue to wait for months again.
The new pipes that they had installed has already disconnected from the existing pipe. This can cause sink hole issues. We had submitted this warranty on 6/22/24. Again, we do not want to wait months for this item to get fixed. We want a solution not a band aid on a gash.
I hope you understand our frustrations. This is our first home. This is supposed to be an exciting experience. We understand there are going to be issues, but again, we do not want this is back & forth communication that should have been done correctly from the beginning. I do know that there are correct ways to handle landscaping, water drainage, etc.
Sincerely,

We brought our home on 04/27/2024. After moving into our home we are having issues with Century Complete. We have contacted them several times with no resolution. One issue is the yard. The builders will not complete our yard. The rocks were promised to be removed, they also promised to put down grass. This came with the purchase of the home, but they will not complete our yard. They give us the run-around. The other issue is we can't get anybody to come out and fix the sheetrock around 3 of our light fixtures. There are holes shown near a light fixture in the bathroom and two in the master bathroom. The final issue is the smart security lock that came with the home is physically broken, and no one is trying to fix anything.Business response

Our Customer Relations is in communication with Mr. *******************
Thanks for meeting with me today and having the conversation about your concerns. As we discussed, you are willing to wait for the drywall repairs until being in your home for about 11 months. This gives your home the chance to settle and the framing to dry out and therefor using the one time drywall repairs to be the most effective for you. The yard is on schedule for next week Thursday or Friday, weather permitting. The delays have come from needing grade approvals from the city. Once your yard is seeded, please know that the maintenance of your yard is up to you. It will require watering regularly and some rocks may appear as the dirt continues to settle. Also helpful is overseeding in areas that do not grow and this will also be up to you to maintain. I am looking for a little more information on the lock. According to ****, the lock itself was not broken until after you moved in. Please let me know if this is accurate. I will have an update for you tomorrow on the shelving and whether the contractor is responsible for the repairs. At this time, I will close the ticket for the toilet bubbling and I will get an update from the plumber tomorrow.
Thanks very much again for meeting with me today. I believe it was an informative meeting for both of us.
Please let me know you received this email.Thank you,
