    Date of transaction:09-16-2024 I had reserved a time slot to use the facility, arrived at the appropriate time, paid my fee ($20.-) entered, changed clothes and then saw on my phone that my 18yr old kid who lives in ****** had tried to reach me with an emergency. There is no cell phone reception in the facility. I went up to the entrance, explained to them what was happening, then left, drove to a spot where I had reception and called my kid. Half an hour later after having been able to resolve the problem with my kid I drove back to the facility.They wanted me to charge another $20.- and treated me in a more than rude manner. It is very obvious to me that they pretty much hate their customers. The public needs to be aware that, as a customer, one is just barely tolerated there. The owner would do well to hire people who have at least the slightest social skills but from what I just read from other customer experiences it seems that the owner himself shares that hateful view of their own customers.I would love to be refunded my $20.- since I never even set a foot into any of the pools nor spent more than 10min. in their facility. I was treated as if I wanted to take advantage of them when I never even asked for any of their services after paying and simply changing my clothes. What facility doesnt provide any reception but then chides you if you have to leave to get reception for an emergency?

    Took my girlfriend here as she had never been for a little getaway for us. We show up, the guy at the desk is rude off the bat, tells us we cant bring a water bottle in, accuses us that it is alcohol without smelling it or checking it at all. it was soda water and lime. We leave it up top and we walk down to the pools to see EVERYONE with water bottles, and even people with glass bottles. So my Girlfriend and I are like wow, that's a bunch of crap, so she goes and grabs it. The rude employee comes running up to us, in front of all of their customers, screaming, cussing at us, calling us names, we say look around, every single person has a water bottle, he continues berating us and yelling, so we leave, I ask for a refund, he continues yelling and calling us names. I email the address on their website, and receive threats from the owner and the owner telling me f*** you and f*** off.

    Ok I've had it with these customers. Who want to blackmail  the hot springs with bad reviews, the BBB who want to blackmail and hold hostage my business. I think the BBB-should also be rating the customers also snd the number of complaints they file and the number of free meals at  RESTAURANTS, and services they steal .  Apparently, it a one sided deal .  I want to thank my staff for saying NO to bad behavior. ,, and encourage them to simply call the sheriff rather than engage these people. Don't forget the bounty of seventy -five dollars per person for trespasser with a sheriff report .

    I am rejecting this response because:
    I asked for nothing for free, I did not trespass, I paid to use a facility, once I paid, they kicked me out, and I left when asked, so the owners response is completely irrelevant. They took a customers money and provided no service. I didn't ask to go for free or anything remotely close to that. A business who takes payment, and then does not provide a service or a good, is bad business, and unethical. Then to be responding to a customer telling them to f*** off and threatening them. The public should be made aware of that. Especially when the owner wasn't even there when this took place and is taking the word of an employee who was completely irrational and childish in their actions. Refund my $40 and I'll remove the BBB complaint, plain and simple.

    Thanks for sharing . But your clients aren't welcome at my business. Iam currently running my business, short staff . With everyone that we do admitted having a good to great time . So please have your ( KARENS) is the new term for whiners , vist other facilities who have more patience to deal with them . I will continue serving people who appreciate my facility and respect my staff . BBB can continue to attack business, during a tenuous time , demanding OWNER S. TO JUSTIFY their operations and cause whatever damage by bad reviews.  My review of the BBB is your like movie CRITICS, you do shit , get paid and don't really provide much to society.   Thanks for Nothing. Don J****** proud of my forty years of ownership and many satisfied customers.  Iam gonna go clean the toilets and take the garbage out ..  AND THRIVE

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The owner of the business continues to just call names and point blame elsewhere. He claims we were being "karens" because we let him know ow that his staff was rude and out of line. He then proceeds to tell customers to f*** off and threaten them. Then harass them days after the incident. He is clearly still avoiding their wrong doing and poor business ethics. He made mention of trespassing when we paid to use a facility that once we paid, we were denied access to. That would be what is known as theft. He can repay the $40 to me and end this, but he would rather take negative reviews and argue. I've offered resolution, he continues to want to argue and call names.

I've got great credit, and reputation.    FYI  ,,  I do make a formidable adversary  , Iam not a bored KAREN , so I pick and choose my fights .  So you got what rights on private property ,to dictate operations or anything else . Clay ,,, your probably young work for these guys , great , You watch YELLOWSTONE,,,, ya me toooo. Very popular with us old school land owners.. PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR  WHAT THEY HAVE AND TAKE EXTREME PRIDE
