Unprofessional Management and Unsafe Conditions at Strawberry Hot Springs On November 29, 2024, at 11:50pm I suffered a fall at Strawberry Hot Springs in Steamboat Springs due to non-existent lighting near the second pool by the entrance. Believing I was stepping onto a step, I misjudged the terrain and injured my left knee and foot, leaving me with bruises and a severely loosened toe nail. Another person in my group fell in the same spot earlier, highlighting the need for better safety measures. The next day, I reported the incident to the manager, hoping for understanding. Instead, I was met with dismissive and defensive behavior. The manager refused to take my concerns seriously, dismissing my injury as just stubbing a toe and stating they wouldnt add lights for ambiance. His tone was rude, and insensitive with racial undertones, leaving me feeling disrespected and unheard. I walked away hoping to still enjoy my experience at the spring's and heal my injuries. The hostility didnt end there. On the second day, after slightly exceeding the two-hour limit, the manager confronted us, accusing us of theft of services, threatening to call the sheriff, and ultimately banning us from returning. He even harassed us as we waited for our group to leave, flashing his car lights and demanding we vacate the property immediately. This experience was shocking and deeply disappointing. Strawberry Hot Springs is a beautiful place, but unsafe conditions and unprofessional, racially charged behavior from management ruined the visit. Its disheartening that a beautiful place like Strawberry Hot Springs is marred by poor management, unsafe conditions, and disrespectful behavior. I hope management reevaluates its approach to safety and customer service. No guest should experience such mistreatment, especially in a place meant to promote relaxation and healing.

Warning to guest ??Please do not spend any money with these corrupt employees. ****,Your professionalism and ability to talk to customers is astounding. If a customer even ask a question or voices their opinion on how to better the hot springs for all customers, you instantly go into a fight mode like you did with our family group of 12. He will then kick you out of the facility and threaten you with calling the sheriff. All this is because one word, "ridiculous " was used to describe the price for my kids under 6. Was there an explanation? No, but,**** voiced his opinion to everybody, saying prices for kids should be $40 dollars and that he was tired of people like me, and the summer season just started.**** needs a new career, demoted or fired. He will also need anger management.I could only imagine what his co-workers go through working with him. Don't be afraid to stand up to people like **** when he tries to bully and threaten you.

We were having a great girls' weekend in ********* Springs. We took an Uber to the hot springs and we didn't know we needed to have reservations. Actually, I have NEVER EVER been treated so bad in my entire life. They refused to let us in because we didn't have reservations. There is no cell service at all in the area which left 4 women on top of a mountain without a way to get back to town. I asked to use a landline and the front staff refused and didn't just refuse but was totally unprofessional and extremely rude. He actually said that that wasn't his problem. They then told us we had to exit the property which meant we would have had to wait outside the parking lot. In addition, they said that ****'s were not allowed to drop people off. I know this is not the truth from Uber drivers who go there all the time. The man who was taking the money also asked me to give him our Uber driver's number because he wanted to have a word with her. That is also totally unacceptable. It was really scary and unnerving. The icing on the cake was a male employee on an ATV who looked us up and down and told us we could come back after the facility closed. We felt like these employees put us in ***** way and they were EXTREMELY rude. We ended up having a wonderful couple help us by giving us a ride to the bottom of the mountain.
