  In February 2024, BBB contacted Pulse IV Therapy regarding claims in its advertising.
  
  On its website, under 'Is IV Therapy Safe,' the business states "All ingredients are sourced from accredited compounding pharmacies. These pharmacies are FDA registered outsourcing facilities."  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB. The business did not provide the requested written documentation in support of these claims.
  
  Its website and social media pages include many health benefit claims related to the services offered by the business.  Below is a sample of some of the health benefit claims in its advertising:
  "Myers Cocktail: The cocktail may be effective in treating acute migraines, fatigue, respiratory tract infections, seasonal allergies, fibromyalgia, and more!"
  "Glutathione - Potential Benefits: Brighter and healthier skin, Less signs of aging, Boost immune system, Prevent chronic illness, Improve athletic, performance, Detoxify your vital organs."
  "Compression Therapy with the Normatec 3 device was designed to provide mobility and profound restorative healing results. This therapy is used by many elite athletes worldwide and may improve your wellness, training, and help you recover faster."
  "Our Immunity Infusion was created to increase energy and boost antioxidant levels, which is great for immune support and can keep you healthy all year round! This infusion can prevent illnesses, minimize cold + flu symptoms and aid in immunity repair and recovery."
  "Approximately 70% of Americans are in a chronic state of dehydration. With athletes, this percentage is even higher"
  "IV therapy is a safe and effective way to deliver nutrients, vitamins and medications directly to your bloodstream. There are so many benefits to IV therapy—hydration, weight loss, muscle building, hangover cures, allergy relief, immunity and more!"
  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal, therapeutic, and ingredient claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims. To date, the business has not complied with BBB's request that it provide substantiation for these claims.  Some, but not all unsubstantiated claims have been removed or modified.
