Important information
- Advertising Review:In April 2024, BBB contacted Anointed and Well regarding claims in its advertising.
The company's advertising includes many health benefit claims related to the treatments offered at its facility. According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. For medicinal, therapeutic, and ingredient claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support these claims. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit and ingredient claims in its advertising. This is not an exhaustive list. BBB informed the business that all websites, social media, and marketing materials should be checked to ensure that claims not able to be substantiated with proper scientific documentation are either removed or modified. BBB did not receive the promised substantiation.
