• Advertising Review:

  In April 2024, BBB contacted ReVive MeE IV Therapy regarding claims in its advertising.
  
  Its advertising includes many health benefit claims related to the treatments offered at its facility.  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.  For medicinal, therapeutic, and ingredient claims or claims to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, or prevent any illness or disease, scientific clinical evidence from human clinical trials is preferred to support such claims. Below is a sample of some of the health benefit and ingredient claims in the company's advertising. This is not an exhaustive list and BBB informed the business that all websites, social media, and marketing materials should be checked to ensure claims that are not able to be substantiated with proper scientific documentation are either removed or modified.  The business did not respond or make any changes to its claims.

  A post on the company's Facebook page states "Real People Real Results" and includes a picture of a scale "Day 1 256.4" and "Day 13 246.6" with the disclaimer "Results will vary."  In general, advertising which uses testimonials is likely to mislead or confuse if it contains representations or statements which would be misleading if made directly by the advertiser or if a consumer’s experience represented in an advertisement is not the typical experience of those using the product or service, unless the advertisement clearly and conspicuously discloses what the expected results will be. BBB asked for substantiation for the claim and requested that if this is not a typical result, that the business state in the ad what the expected results would be for weight loss in 13 days. The business did not respond or make changes to the claim.
