• Advertising Review:

  In July 2023, BBB contacted Northwest Cleaning regarding claims in its advertising. 
  
  Its website includes a "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" badge and the statements "If you're unhappy with any of our cleaning services, simply notify of us of the problem area within 24 hours and we'll come back and fix the issue at no charge to you. We stand by our work. As long as you notify us within 24 hours, we will return and make it right."  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, advertisers should only use satisfaction guarantee or similar representations in advertising if the seller or manufacturer refunds the full purchase price of the advertised product or service at the consumer's request.  BBB suggested that if its policy does not include a full refund, that the business consider modifying this statement. The business did not respond or modify the claim.
  
  Its website and listing at yellowpages.com state that the business is "Bonded, Licensed & Insured." The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.  BBB requested that the business provide proof of current licensing but did not receive a response.
  
  Its website states "Did you know that the average employee loses 9 working days a year due to an unclean office space?"  According to the BBB Code of Advertising, claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data. The business did not provide the requested proof for this claim.
