They installed a new oil pan on my car and used the wrong type of silicone and too much of it! They silicone got sucked up into my engine and ruined it!!! They deny accountability for itReview from Brock J

Buyer beware!!! This place sold me 4 new tires and replaced the tires on my vehicle 3 months ago. I got a nail in on of my tires and attempted to take it back today to get plugged and repaired, and they stated they "Can not work on these tires, because they have foam in them.". When purchasing these tires 3 months ago, not a single word was said about these tires having foam inside of them and not being able to be repaired in the future. These specific tires are more expensive than normal tires without foam inserts. This place was just trying to upcharge for more expensive tires, and want you to purchase a brand new tire when something goes wrong. This place should disclose this information before purchasing, specifically that they can not repair/plug these types of tires in the future. How can a place sell tires without disclosing that they can not work or repair these tires in the future. Huge scam just to upsell you tires, and not caring about the consumer. Would avoid this place at all cost!!!Review from John P

Action Gator tire in ****** sux!! I had them replace the ball joints in my truck maybe 4 years ago. I was driving down 520 in *****, 45 miles from home, my left front wheel almost fell off! I'm lucky I wasn't killed or injured! I guess they're ok for tires. Don't go to them for any kind of mechanical work. They ****.Review from Frank S

I came here to have a flat tire repair. They showed me the terrible condition of my tires and they were so warm and friendly and sincere and authentic. Bottom line is I ended up with four new tires and a balance and alignment. I highly recommend Howard at the front desk and Jacob and Joe in the shop who took care of me. And, I had stopped first at brand x across the street where are they treated me with arrogance. So I drove across the street and dropped almost a grand with them and feel great about it. Dishonest. Do not go here or recommended to anyone. Had my car for two days for a tire nail patch. After promising by 445 day of drop off, no one called, I had to call to find out they didn't do anything. Left overnight, called at noon still awaiting a call to find out they were "just now pulling it in". When picking up, tried to charge me though I had warranty which was provided when dropping off. Refused to give me paperwork and said "It's only 30 dollars" so I should pay. Following day, tire is flat again. Took somewhere else. The nail is still in the tire, no patch was done!!! These people are terrible sales people and dishonest. They could care less about safety and providing a service which the claim they did. Mavis Tire in Winter park is a great place to have my cars serviced. They have taken care of all my three vehicles for years and Wayne and his crew are very professional and honest. I have had no problem with them in all the years I have been patronizing this particular shop. They treat me like family and I am thankful for the service they have provided for me and my family. Today, I went to Mavis Tire & Brakes in Clermont Florida, for a simple tire change. I brought my own brand-new tire, just needed the installation. They quoted me $55 - ok kind of high, but whatever. Waited for about an hour the sale guy came to me and told me that my tire pressure sensor came off, broken, or was loose. I will need a new one. I automatically knew it was ***. After hesitating, I asked how much it is, and he jokingly said a billion dollars. Then told me $89.99. Still suspicious, I told him to go ahead and do it. Something told me that this place was going to try something like this. I went outside to make a phone call and he called out and explained what he thought happened. He knows I wasn't buying the **** They finally finished with my car. The price started at $55 for a simple tire change then according to them I needed a tire pressure sensor, TPMS Relearn procedure, shop supply, and labor and tax, the last 2 of which I expected. This magically ended up being $180.52. Well, Buyer beware! Caution! I will never do business with this company or any of its affiliates or sister companies. Enjoy that shit because that is the first and last time you will ever get my money!Review from Jeffrey D

ACTION GATOR TIRE **** * ****** ***. TOOK MY TESLA IN TO HAVE TIRES CHECKED ON 7/31/23 TOLD ME THAT ALL TIRES WHERE OK AND ALL WHERE IN THE GREEN. TOLD ME ALL SAFE AND SOUND. NEVER CHECK THE TIRE I TOLD THEM WAS A PROBLEM AND HAD A SPLIT ON THE INSIDE OF THE TIRE AND IT SHOULD BE REPLACED, I EVEN GAVE THEM THE MODEL AND SIZE OF THE TIRE. NEXT MORNING, THE TIRE THAT I TOLD THEM TO CHECK AND REPLACE BLOW OUT ON THE ROAD. THEY NEVER CHECKED THE TIRE, IT HAD A SPLIT IN THE BACK SO THEY COULD NOT SEE IT, THEY DID NOT EVEN CHECK THE PRESSURE IN THE TIRE, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 40, I CHECKED IT MYSELF WHEN I GOT HOME AND IT WAS 32. Beware … this is not the Action Gator that has built a reputation in our community for decades. After being coerced into buying the house brand ***** *****, we were really unhappy. I was told that these were the only tires they could get same day and that if I wanted my car back in the afternoon, the ***** ***** were my only option. Now owned by Mavis, I believe that these guys are incentivized to sell you ***** *****, and believe you me … you don’t want ***** *****! They’re absolute junk, and the fees you’ll pay on top of the price of the tires will blow your mind. Fortunately, I was able to get the ***** ***** swapped for something else that I’m more happy with, but they wouldn’t honor their own on-line pricing for the difference in the cost of the tires vs. the Mavis junk I was “forced” to go with the first time. All total, I overpaid by about $250 (or more than 30%) over what I would have paid for the exact same tires elsewhere, plus the time on the phone with their folks and an extra day off work to deal with the whole thing. What a disaster! Never Action Gator, never again! 2-stars only because they swapped the tires for something else, but multiple attempts to get them to honor their own online pricing failed. I was ripped off, period and they're not owning up to it.
