My roof was put on 3 years ago, Nolands roofing came out, and they were so eager to get my business. I had to wait almost 3 years because they decided to sue my insurance company that wouldn't pay for my roof but they have lawyers, and they knew what they were doing to get the insurance company to pay. Three years before they actually repaired my roof after the insurance paid, I still had to pay my deductible, which I already used my deductible for the same storm inside of my house, but **** said thats not how it works and I had to pay my deductible. again, on top of ******. After the storm, there was 4 shingles off, I called Nolands right away, and they told me it would be ***** to 2000 to fix 4 shingles. The roof was only 3 years old. They do nothing to help you, after you have an issue. There is no follow-up or customer service after the fact. I spoke with the **** who sold me the roof apparently, when their repair people come out, they can't tell you what's going on until your salesman calls you and tells you sorry, theres nothing we could do about it unless you want to pay two thousand dollars. I informed **** that the people that did my siding on my house was more than willing to get up on my roof and fix it, they didn't even do the roof!! He said, (well, if they're willing to do it, then let them)..They replace my siding on my home. He even went out of his way and bought the bag of shingles, so I didn't have to make a trip. Kudos goes to **********. Thank you *****..you are the bomb! That's the company that helped me with my roof repair, not Nolands Roofing, who did the work and got paid handsomely for it.. Yes, they seemed happy to help, when you need a roof, but If you need any help after the fact, customer service does not extend after the job is done!!! Poor customer service!!

We have tried to contact the homeowner upon receipt of this complaint in an effort to discuss a positive resolution.  Although we do have costs associated with repairs due to Hurricane damage, we would be willing to cover material cost for the bag of shingles required in this instance as an effort to show good faith and come to a positive resolution.  We will continue to try to reach this homeowner so that we can come to an agreement.

In 2017 a new roof was needed and put on by Noland's Roofing. Up graded shingles were purchased at that time for winds up to 135 mph. After Hurricane ****** earlier this week, a roof inspecter came from Noland's Roofing and they stated the shingles were not properly applied in 2017 and the roofers they used at that time have since been fired along with some management. We do feel not feel it is our total reponsibilty to have to pay for another roof (with State Farm and our large deductible) for a product not properly applied. The total amount we paid with insurance in 2017 ($13,714.42). Today the ******** inspector said our new roof that would be needed will appx cost ($20,000).

Nolands has contacted this homeowner, this roof was completed in 2017, there has been zero issues since install until we had a major hurricane hit the state of Florida on 10/10/2024. This roof when it was completed was passed by the city inspector that all was good. This was Damages from Hurricane Milton.

I am rejecting this response because: I was home the entire time during the roof installation and inspection. The supervisor was rarely on the premises as the work was being done. When the city inspector came out he okayed the finished work without getting on the roof. There was an area of plywood that was bad and needed to be replaced. I took pictures and they were shown to Noland’s Roofing as well as city inspector. Noland’s supervisor got up in attic and placed a 2 x 4.  There is now a low concave depth area over that bad area. I also took pictures of shingles that came off during the recent hurricane showing the installation was not done properly.

    Sincerely,

Noland’s Roof inspector verbally informed me a new roof was needed after inspecting my roof. Since that time I’ve contacted another company and the inspector verbally stated that the roof can be repaired and a new roof is not needed. He too got on my roof to inspect. My concern now is Noland’s taking advantage of me

On 7/19/24 at 2pm I made a claim to my insurance company for AC damages. About 330 pm that same day a salesperson from Noland's roofing came in and was eager to call the insurance company and put in another claim for the roof. I stated that he needed to advise them of the ac claim I had already put in he never mentioned it. I should have known from then this would be a mess! They have never wanted to give us a quote, and that did not sit well with me. After they came out to insp my roof they have never contacted nor called us. I have expressed in email and verbally and have tried to call them with no return call back. I do not want to do business with a company that shows no interest in customer but quick to collect money! I want them to release me of any business with them so I can move on with fixing my roof with a more reliable company. I feel they fast talked me and stated at any time, if we did not want to work with them it would be at no cost to us. Now they want 20% of what???? The came out to do a free estimate that, but I never got a quote when I asked for one from day one multiple times from day 1! I was told by salesperson that we needed to wait on the insurance to release a check before a quote could be given. I asked my insurance comp is that so, and others and they said no it is not true. all in all, Noland's roofing seems to be swindlers, and I do not want to work with people with poor customer service and poor business tactics. all in all my husband was not present in all this, and I feel as though I was taken advantage of. its almost 3 months later and they have never reached out to us after the so called free eval and now since the check has been released, they still haven't reached out to us. it took my insurance sending an email to them. I wish I would have come on here to read their reviews before I allowed them in. Hoping with this complaint that they do what is right and release themselves to my insurance company and no charges against us!

The job was done on April 13, 2022. The job was to replace the roof due to several leaks, the job was finished but done incorrectly and on April 1 2024 I called them due to a leak in the garage coming from the roof, they came on April 11, 2024 and told me they would come back on April 15,2024 to do the necessary repairs, they came, did the repair and left without waiting for me to come and make sure the job was completed correctly, once I noticed what they had put in the roof, I called them right away and told them I didn't like the way the repair was done, we've been going back and forth about this matter because they just want to put a piece of metal to cover it up, and also told me that if I wanted it differently (the way the roof was from the beginning) I would have to pay $1,500 for materials. I'm supposed to have a 5 year Workmanship warranty according to the contract that we signed. I just want my roof to be fixed the way it used to be when they did it the first time.

5 years ago ****** roofing installed a new roof on our home. On part of the roof they installed a low pitch Certainteed roofing system at their suggestion. Since the installation of the roof it has leaked several times, but Nolands roofing has been good about sending someone out to repair it.This November I actually noticed the roof was sliding down off the roof and separating at the seams. I immediately called Nolands roofing and they sent out ***** or ***** to look at the roof.He stated that it was a roofing failure due to manufacturing and they would have a representative come look at it and get it replaced. He assured us this would be fixed at no cost to us as it was a defect in the roofing system. Since then nothing has happened we have called several times and ***** or ***** does not return our calls. I talked to ***** at Nolands roofing in January I stated I was frustrated because no one has resolved they issue, she was nice of enough to look into and returned my call and told me someone would be out soon to look at roof and figure out a solution. Today I called and was told to talk to ****** in production, but he was unavailable and will return my call. I am doubtful about anyone returning my call.

Just someone returning my phones calls would have been reassuring.  I think ******** roofing should work on better communication to customers.  Certainly this was either an installation error or a manufacturing defect, neither involved me as the customer, it should have just been replaced and ******** roofing should have dealt with who was responsible.
