    I paid a deposit for ************* to receive plastic surgery and did not receive services due to being pregnant. I reached out after my 6 months and was told he no longer worked there! The deposit I paid was suppose to be refunded but I have not received anything. I have called and left voicemails no one is reaching out.

    I have decided to cancel my surgery with Body Aesthetics Center with ***************** for various reasons. Mainly for reason being in relation to the refund process that has cause me much distress. I request for my refund on 2/10 and I still havent received it! I have been constantly been given different dates of my check being mailed out. The lack of communication and unresponsive from this office is unacceptable. I paid a total of $4050 and the cancellation fee I was told was $750. As a RN and my 17 years of nursing I know that no amount of money is worth my life. So I felt as if $750 loss was nothing compared to possibly losing my life under their care. I strongly feel that if you the front office, which is first impression cant get things in order, they are not competent enough for me to entrust my life in their hands. There is a constant change of doctors I noticed and a documentary on ******* regarding their surgery related deaths and malpractice lawsuits. IM NOT SURPRISED!!!! Now they changed locations and theyre named from *********************. I believe that they are fraudulent. The surgery coordinator ********************* and ***********************(refund department) are both of no help to this matter as it is ongoing. I made desperate measures to contact them repeatedly and my last and only option was to post on their IG page and private DM my concerns. I received a response via DM and a call from *************** informing me that the check was in the mail. Still no check in the Mail for my hard earned money that I made while fighting the worldwide pandemic as a travel nurse. This unacceptable and I have consulted legal counsel.

    6.8.22 I made a deposit of 250 for a surgical procedure with company 7.6.2022 I made a second payment of $1000 ************ Upon paying deposit, a legally binding contract between the center and I, confirmed the total price for the surgery. One reason it was priced so highly (roughly **** usd) is because (which was stated) of the state wide mandate in effect for **, in which an ultrasound machine has to be used as part of bbl procedures. In October of 2022, I received another email saying that since the mandate was in effect, they would increase the balance of my (already increased) procedure (essentially breaching the contract that had already been signed). This level of unprofessionalism made me uncomfortable, so I decided to cancel with them and reschedule with a more ethical and professional establishment. I spoke to a Prestige representative about my desire for refund. Initially I did (and still do) want my full amount ($1250) back. I was told that the (obviously selectively binding) contract I signed, would only warrant me to receive $500 back. 11.11.2022 I received an email from Prestige stating that my refund was processing and should be received within in ***** days from the time the email was sent. As of March 7, 2023, I have received NOTHING. They seem to have switched to a different name also (body aesthetic center), and reaching Prestige has been quite the task.

    I initially in 2021 scheduled to have lipo surgery with ********************* I did my research on a ************** and trusted him to perform my surgery due to his surgery record. As time passed I was making monthly payment on the patient portal to pay for my surgery which was set for late Nov 2021 as time got closer I was unable to access the patient portal around September I called ***** to find out why and was told ************** left they didn't know why but he and his patients were transferred to Prestige Aesthetic Center. During the transfer prestige had a situation where what I paid to ***** still hadn't been transferred over to the new patient portal each month as I was still making payment in Prestige patient portal I still called to check on why my funds still hadn't been transferred. I called in regards to this matter to this company from the beginning to end and still all the way up until today I am having issues with the correct amount of a refund Im suppose to receive. I have yet to receive my refund from this company. ***** 2022 when I made the last ******* payment to the patient portal but felt I was making payments but issues weren't resolved with my funds being transferred and the steps I needed to take being as though it was closer to the time of my procedure. When I called in ***** which my procedure was scheduled for *** the day I called in ***** was the first day I was made aware ************* had left their facility as well but he left back in February which was never communicated to me until I called in *****. Highly upset I was because this was his second time leaving without properly notifying the patients of him leaving. I wasn't familiar with this center nor the doctors there so I cancelled the whole thing back in ***** now I am having issues with receiving a refund I have yet to receive and the head person in the refund **** wont call me back because of the discrepancy with the amount due. still no refund still no follow up

    I cancelled my surgery due to health issues. I am not able to get my surgery anymore. I requested this refund 9/12/22. It was processed in October. Originally they were supposed to send my refund back to my card but it never happened so I had them cancel it and send it as a check. They check they sent out November 9th I never received it. Which leads me to believe they never sent it out. So November 22nd they changed my address and sent out another one and I still have yet to receive it ! I should have had my money back way back in October it is almost January. It doesnt take this long to send someone a check in the mail. I just want my money back.

    We initially sent a refund check to the address provided by the patient in her refund request. The patient reported that she never received the original check and provided a new mailing address. We proceeded to place a stop payment on original check and mailed a new check to the new address provided by the patient.  We haven't received any new notification from the patient regarding her refund. 

    Due to this complaint, we will follow up with the patient and take care of this matter.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I spoke with her and she gave  me the option to get the refund as direct deposit. I gave her my bank information on Wednesday and she said it should be in my bank account by next Wednesday 12/21. I emailed her to let me know when it has been deposited so I can be on the look out for it but I havent received a response yet.

    The clinic came to a shutdown my authorities in ******* and months I tried to contact them to schedule my surgery. I asked for my $1,000 refund and been lied to for over 3 months about it being sent out to me. I still havent received it. I regret even considering them. The bad part is o didnt even sign up with them however another clinic transferred me to them.

    This patient was approved for a full refund. We processed the refund and sent the funds to the patient through a mailed check.

    The patient in December contacted us and reported that she never received her refund. After the patient informed us, we placed a stop payment on the check, and we mailed a new check to the current address provided by the patient.

    On given dates of year 2022; 6/23, 7/5, 7/9, 7/25, 8/12, 8/19, 8/26, 9/9, 9/9 I deposited $250.00 via debit card online through prestige aesthetic center website every time. On 9/19 I requested a refund through the website and received an email stating my refund process has begun and it should take up to ***** business days to receive funds the way the payments were made. 10/7 I emailed ************** and asking for the status of my refund. 101/10 ************** replied stating it was only 14 days. 10/30 I called prestige aesthetic center and spoken to the refund department and inquired about my refund and I was told 10/31 would be the 30th day ***** The lady also mentioned that there was a problem with my card information and that they couldn't deposited my money in my bank account and a check was mailed out 10/24. I expressed my displeasure on the information given and that nothing was wrong with my bank account. The lady went over my address and said it was mailed and to wait two weeks. It has exceeded the two weeks wait period and I still have not received my alleged check via mail. Since then, I have reached out numerous times via email, phone calls, and even DM the doctor through social media (Instagram). And to no avail I have been ignored through all my attempts. I have reported the business to the ****************** of *********** and ******** Services and now the BBB in hopes to rectify the situation in me receiving my refund. This whole runaround I find unprofessional and misleading based off the company's own refund policy. Not only do I feel I should receive my $1500 but also the $750 cancellation fee should be waived. Leaving me a total of $2250 being restored back to me. Because of this situation I find myself financially in debt, but mentally and emotionally I have been stressed over this situation because it seems the company is not willing to ***** me money that is rightfully mines. I'm reaching out in hopes the BBB can help speed the process, so I move on.

We will be reaching out directly to the patient to see if there is anything else we can assist her with and we will be more than happy to. Unfortunately we are not able to waive the cancellation fee as this is company policy.

    At 9:54 AM Nov. 21, 2022, 
     I called Prestige Aesthetic Center for the 48-hour followed up I scheduled with ****************** (manager) from the refund department. I spoke to receptionist ****, confirming my name and why I had called. After being on hold, **** returned to the phone to inform me that they have no file on me, my doctor ******* has left the company and went to another called Body Aesthetic Center, and as of today 11/21/22 Prestige Aesthetics Center has closed and given me the phone number **************
    to the new facility. Confused and worried I went to my email to check on my BBB compliant that I had made. In my email I seen the reply from Prestige Aesthetic Center the stating they " confirmed with me on 11/3/22 that I received" this alleged check. Which is an absolute LIE. I to this date is still being giving the run around about the $1850.00 (****************** confirmed this amount) check.

     I called Body Aesthetic Center, receptionist *** answered, and I asked for the refund department. *** confirmed my name and seen that I was a ******* refund patient from his previous facility and told me she has to get more information on my file. I was placed on hold for at least ***** minutes before *** returned telling me that she was unable to get in touch with anyone from the department and that someone from there will reach out to me. When asked for the name of the person and when I can expect a call, *** was very hesitant and unwilling to answer my questions and placed me back on hold. Upon returning *** confessed she did not know the name of the person I would be speaking to nor when I could expect a call from this person. And ended the phone call.

     

    **** ALSO WHEN SPEAKING TO ********** ASKED HIM WHERE WAS ****************** AND HE SAID SHE WAS NO LONGER THERE AND AT THE NEW FACILITY AS WELL...

    I would like to thank you for your speedy action and to update you since the last we spoke.
    On November 23, 2022 I received a call from prestige aesthetic center from ****************** the manager in the refund department at 10:10 am regarding my refund. And also would like to bring to your attention that ****************** is the same person I was informed that *she no longer works with the facility prestige aesthetic center as of November 21,2022 by the receptionist ****. During our conversation ***** did inform me that a new check would be sent out on that day(11/21/2022) and to give **** days to receive my long awaited refund check. When asked the amount, I was told it would be the $1500.00 which is a different amount given from our previous conversations which was $1850.00. And I believe it to be retaliation for reporting the company.  Being that I havent had the best communication with the company since my request of refund in September. I would like to know/review my options or next step if and when I do not receive the new check. Because of this tiring, frustrating, and stressful situation I have found myself in debt and struggling to maintain, I would like to know if any legal actions I can take. Not sure if this is out of your control but if so can you please direct me where I may find answers.

    The office does not pick and choose how much to return a patient per their situation there is one standard cancellation fee for the office. It seems this tend so be an ongoing issue with the company and I would like to know the status of my check. If you could help with my concern it would be deeply appreciated.

    I scheduled a surgery with ********************* back in February 2021 with **************. I never was informed that he was moving to a different site until I called to reschedule my surgery date! In March I decided to canceled this surgery and request a refund in which June 2, 2021 I received partial of my refund on my debit card! After calling and leaving numerous messages for ***** ( billing coordinator) I was informed that the remaining balance will be sent via check, now from June until now August 27 I have received nothing! I did finally speak with ***** in which she promise me a check would be written up asap and sent out! After asking her to contact me when this check was mailed out I never heard back! On august 22nd I was told my check went out and its nothing I can do but wait for it Im honestly ready to move forward with legal action

    Back in February of 2021, Ive placed a deposit and payments totaling $750.00 for a surgery, months down the line, *************** went MISSING IN ACTION and the facility cancelled all surgeries, however I was not informed at all, they claimed he moved to a different facility, I reached out to someone in HR and billing department, I spoke to 3 different people telling me my refund will be issued since it was their fault on beeech of contract with the doctor and no patient was informed, I was informed a check was mailed to me back in February 2022 my credit was refunded . Pushing forward to todays date May 5th 2022. It had been 3 months I still HAVE NOT RECIEVED A CHECK FROM PRESTIGE for my $750.00. Every time I call and request to speak to someone on billing they give everyone a staged story line lie of checks was mailed out, (it does not take 3 months for anything to be retrieved in the mail). This is absolutely unprofessional of this company to withhold not only me, but also 100s of other patients hard earned worked funds.

    The consumer stated above which will be stated as (the patient) began inquiring services from PRESTIGE AESTHETIC CENTER.  Her chosen surgeon transferred to PRESTIGE AESTHETIC CENTER therefore the consumer  became a patient of PRESTIGE AESTHETIC CENTER. The patient requested a refund on her original payment that was paid initially to the facility her chosen surgeon originated from, and on February 4th 2022 PRESTIGE AESTHETIC CENTER contacted the original merchant for the patient to receive the funds of ****** US DOLLARS in check form to the address that the patient (consumer stated above) provided and verified.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    there was no check received and no check was issued, on the site which I have proof, it stated my refund was fully refunded and NOTHING HAS been refunded to me and the company KNOWS that along with many other patients who HAS NOT RECEIVED a issued refund. I would like to know where exactly is my refund, NO ONE IN THE BILLING DEPARTMENT has contacted me in 2 weeks, they give a crappy stages line you should receive the check in a week or 2 this is the excuse Ive heard for 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT! If action isnt pursued I will have a lawyer step in and take further action with the entire facility and its poor billing department. I should not be receiving a check if I made ALL my payments via my debit card, my money should have been returned the same way the payment was made via debit card. YOU GUYS ARE PATHETIC!!
