Dont waste your time with AAMCO AAMCO Winchester is a horrible place to take your car for transmssion repair. As many have experienced they jack up the prices $$Double as compared to everyone elses honest rates. AAMCO is even higher than dealer prices. Doesnt matter what you tell them you want.. I told ** smooth talker **** I wanted him to replace one trans cooler line basically a length of simple steel brake tubing coming from the front of the vehicle and going to the transmission. Someone put a piece of 3/8 fuel hose aboyt 12" long to repair a small leak. **** said Oh. 'We'll do a diagnostic and call you with options.. Options ??? excuse me.. I clearly stated what I wanted. So he calls me back the next day and says Will have you ready tomorrow and the price is $634.00.. Are you kidding ???? I told hime where he could stick it and that he knew better than to ***** me like that etc So he said then bring me $89 and come get the vehicle.. I did. I went to another mechanic Valley Gearing and Automotive ( see it here on ******** )who said he would replace BOTH trans coolant lines with factory lines new and done turnkey for $350.. You tell me. This isnt the 1st time AAMCO has been caught outright gouging a customer and their work is really not top notch as it goes. Avoid this place. They have always been a bit dishonest. You ARE treated like a Dollar sign $$ instead of a customer.

Customer was told Transmission would fix the problem. AAMCO total car care charged ******* Customer was then told the cars wiring needs to be done or warranty is voided. They stated they wouldn't touch the car due to wiring but if wiring was the issue why was the company willing to rebuild the transmission in the first place. They also stated they don't work on wiring but will tell the credit card company you bring the car back. This company is dishonest, and I wouldn't suggest anyone get work done there. Then when trying to dispute the charge the credit card company sides in favor with the company because they seem to be linked. What this company does is say the transmission needs to be rebuilt and then say the problem is something else and that they can't fix the problem.

Bad service and customer support. Was cursed at and tried to **** into a fight by so called owner only because I wanted the owners name to file a complaint. Was told would not honor warranty even though have one and spent $2,100 on ac that failed in less than a month after service. Called another aamco location to see if they would honor warranty and the location didnt have ac tech at present, told to call customer service which is a joke and was told there is nothing they can do because the franchise are individually owned. Asked repeatedly for the owners name at this particular location and calls by customer service never returned. Bad place and bad business practices would give no stars but not an option. Buyer beware!
